I can see why they've picked this order.
    1. Newcastle- Everyone wants to see the headbutt incident
    2. Chelsea- top of the league
    3. Arsenal- Lost to Stoke <laugh>, bigish news (well it would be is Arsenal didn't always loose to Stoke)

But if Manure were playing they would have been on before us, even if it had been 0-0.

bbc salford yet again take the opportunity to bring Evra and the bite up yet again in their "Luis at Liverpool" factfile, the story only relates to Suarez but is about John Henry ffs.
No mention of Suarez winning the league cup or being this seasons leading scorer, they could have mentioned the charity work him and Lucas do at their local children's ward near their homes over the water on the Wirral, but they have stubbornly stuck to their anti- Suarez doctrine.<grr>

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26414167

Imagine the outcry if the next story they post about Rio includes "Ferdinand dodged a drugs test and was given a 9 month ban, Ferdinand was also found guilty of charges relating to comments regarding the race/colour of a fellow player and was fined.

Him and Lucas live in Woolton mate but yes they both do loads of charity work in the area. Just as a contrast does Terry still get his history brought up on articles about him, I don't know cos I never read them? <whistle>

There was an item on Granada Reports a few weeks ago about Suarez and Lucas doing charity work on behalf of the hospital their wives gave birth and it was a place on the Wirral jb, not sure what that was all about then, but tbf the beeb never look beyond Evra and the bite.

that "luis at liverpool" fact file is scandalous.

I'm even if it is a "major event" list only the most scummy racist would drop things like a league cup win and topping the table with lfc in December AND mind you getting fans player of the year award from it and give so many "phackts"

september return from ban V utd... cos utd won... had he hit a hat trick its not be in there.

nothing about goal of months, player of month in decemebr etc etc

In short i think its about time the bbc were reported to the authorities for bias and discrimination in reporting.

Their babies were born in Arrowe Park baby unit which is private, one of the top maternity units in the country apparently, but they definitely live in Woolton.

BBC Salford appear to have forgotten the 1976 final when a midtable 2nd division club beat a team based very close to their offices.

    [h=2]Five great FA Cup shocks[/h]1972: Hereford 2 Newcastle 1
After a draw at St James' Park, Southern League Hereford won the replay after Ronnie Radford equalised with a 40-yard thunderbolt. Then Ricky George hit the winner in extra time.
    1988: Liverpool 0 Wimbledon 1
Dave Beasant became the first goalkeeper to lift the FA Cup after famously saving a penalty from striker John Aldridge in the final and Lawrie Sanchez headed home the deciding goal.
    1989: Sutton 2 Coventry 1
Coventry arrived in Surrey just 18 months after winning the FA Cup, and were left stunned as Tony Rains and Matthew Hanlan became goalscoring heroes for the non-League team.
    1992: Wrexham 2 Arsenal 1
The Gunners were league champions, Wrexham were bottom of the old fourth division. Mickey Thomas equalised with a free-kick and Steve Watkin got the winner.
    2013: Norwich 0 Luton 1
A non-League side beat top-flight opposition in the FA Cup for the first time in 24 years as Scott Rendell's struck 10 minutes from time for Conference Luton at Carrow Road

    From the match preview:

They still have to, despite everything, try and put the most positive spin they can possibly come up with on it.

    Garth Crooks strikes again.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26602938

We play Manure off the park and he only picks Flanno and Stevie G. Arsenal score in the first minute and shut up shop for 89mins and get three players picked.
I watched the Arse v Spuds game, Spuds absolutely dominated and it wasn't Arse that kept the score at 1-0 it was the fact that Spuds couldn't score in a brothel. Rosicky? Aside from scoring he did **** all else.

  16. TBH, I don't think we really had that many stand out performers today. I'm not sure Gerrard should really be on the team of the week but we all know Garth likes to pick the goalscorers.

Thought Skrtel had a good game for us, made quite a few clearances and a very important block from Rooney' shot right on half time. Agree with Gerrez though, no one really stood out. Was just a good all round team display along with a poor performance from United.

Ignominy is better than nonentity, I suppose.

Tbh, I think all this talk about an unstoppable downward spiral and a 10 year rebuild is seriously jumping the gun.
I think another similarly bad season next time, or a similar decline with another manager might give it some credence, but it could all change again next year and making these extravagant claims on the evidence of one poor season with a seemingly inept manager is a bit rash.
