Moyes invented the lean, he thinks it shows a cool calm attitude regardless of how bad things are. I suppose it must be much the same for the "new boys" who sign for you <laugh>

The top clubs overpay for what they believe to be the top players - I don't think that's news really.

As for the Liverpool 'bargains' you've tactically missed out Henderson (£20m), Downing (£20m), Carroll (£35m) and Allen (£15m) = £90m. All clubs make good buys and bad buys, you just have to hope you make more of the former!!

Found this gem entitled "An open letter to David Moyes" posted on a Everton site not long before Fergie lumbered Utd with him, change a few names and dates and the same letter could be written a Utd fan now.

    http://www.sos1878.co.uk/everton-fans/an-open-letter-to-david-moyes/

Is that comment near the bottom of the page by UIR...."I want my United back".<whistle>

I like the very apt "We’re sinking fast and its time for change…….please"

At least we now know Tobes real name - Les.

    Also I like this comment...

"As a United supporter, I want to cry"

That site is run by a crank and the views in that article do not represent the feeling of most Evertonians at the time.

In fact Moyes made the author look a total chump, as we played some fabulous attacking football in his last season with us.

He was trapped in the 80's that prick, as he'd patently forgotten the decade of ****e that preceded Moyes & the simple fact that he'd had £10m net to spend in 11 years ffs.

Last time they attempted that, dongo, Dave and a few others got the pitch forks out, there was nearly a full blown mutiny & 6D's had a meltdown <laugh>

We've got the play the mighty Baggies first.

I'd take a one nil loss right now if offered.

You can't have WBA first. A match thread would have been up in January if that was the case.

I must admit Matth has been very, very slack in his match thread production for this crucial six pointer.
