Only one of those teams doesn't have the extra strain of European football this year....just saying. Lets see how you fare next year.

They have no money at all. There manager admitted it. They are still trying to put the Dalglish era of spending behind them.

Just imagine if suarez or Sturridge got injured. The rest ofbthe squad is dire. Of course they are playing out of their skin this season ( helps that the rest are pretty poor) but without 7 or 8 first teamers they will struggle in europe alongside the league.

 

That wasn't really the point. The point was the level of investment for the quality of the players.

 

If it makes you feel better in your hour, month, season, decade of need, then OK

 

PS Suarez missed the first 5 games and Sturridge has already been injured.
