Whilst I don't believe that Liverpool have been particularly lucky this season (they certainly were on the wrong side of decisions at Chelsea and City) anyone who thinks that they don't get an easy ride in the media and haven't done for years is not watching football on the TV or reading about it in the papers, (even in the supposedly biased south), for years we have put up with Hansen and Lawrenson on the BBC, Thompson, Redknapp and Souness on Sky, and worst of all Beglin on ITV, but now we have Murphy, Hamman, Owen, Fowler, Carragher, James, and McManaman all spouting on behalf of the 1 club giving Liverpool more people speaking to the nation on their behalf than every other premier league club put together. And whilst I agree you do merit praise this season you have been getting it by the bucket load and if I here anyone else say that you kept Suarez when Spurs sold Bale and thats the difference, does anyone outside Liverpool really believe that if Real had offered the Bale money for Suarez that would still have been the case? No I didnt think so!

By keeping Suarez, Liverpool will make £30m for next season CL and if we keep Suarez again, we will make £50m for the CL after with BT sports deal with UEFA.

So literally Spurs got greedy and sold him for £80m and will end up losing £80m over 2 seasons in the CL alone. Lets forget about prize money in the PL.

Even if they were on the wrong end of decisions against City and Chelsea the latter as comfortably better than them anyway and their profligacy in front of goal can't be blamed when coming up against a prolific City side. Stats suggest if you only score once at the Etihad you'll lose 9/10.

Their attacking play, quick passing and interchanges aren't overrated, its a fact they are the leagues most impressive attacking team (73 goals scored) and they deserve their praise, nothing to do with pro media bias.

Agree but if it were Tottenham/Arsenal or even Everton in their situation the media wouldn't give them a prayer of winning the title against Chelsea and City sides in good form and with settled XI's. Name alone is why they are being tipped as dark horses.

I just don't see Chelsea AND City both surrendering a 4 point lead. If one drops points the other will take advantage and there's a widely held assumption Liverpool WILL beat Chelsea and City but if they lose either of those games they are out of it there and then + there's no way Chelsea/City will be turned over like Arsenal/Everton. Unlike the latter they'll try to take the tempo out of the game which doesn't suit Liverpool.

I just think Pool left themselves with too much to do after that draw at West Brom. Had they won that game they would be right up there with City and Chelsea.

You're missing the point, as usual! We sold Bale because the player was adamant that he wanted to go to Real. All we did was make sure we got top dollar for him.

You will find out this summer that if Real come in and Suarez wants to go, you will have little choice - there's no point in keeping an unhappy player. And please don't bring up The Goons' ridiculous attempt to get him. Real is a completely different prospect!...

At least with the CL Suarez helped us to get, we will get £30m plus Suarez sale and be able to buy world class players by being in the CL.

And not rubbish players that spurs spent £110m on! LOL

Also Bale left to play CL football as well.

We haven't wasted all of the money, just some of it. Anyway, I don't think we need any lectures on wasting money on hopeless players from Liverpool - or would you like to discuss Carroll, Downing, etc??

Bale left to play for one of the top 2-3 club sides in the world. Also, probably the most prestigious club in world football.

Well Suarez is playing in the best league in the world and is fighting for the league title and signed a contract too.

CL or no CL if a big European club comes in for Sewerez, he will be demanding a transfer quicker than he dives in the penalty box, it is totally within his character.

Your assumption that Liverpool will able to buy world class players if they get into the CL is laughable, players move for the money so unless Liverpool are prepared to offer ridiculous wages then attracting world class talent will be as hard as ever. Also there are very few world class players out there who are available and not already playing in the CL, clubs do not want to sell their best players, so assuming that Liverpool will just go and buy whoever they want because they may be in the CL is ridiculous.

We like to think it's the best league in the world, the CL says otherwise.

Suarez signed a contract did he? That's funny, so did Bale you know - he still went, and so will Suarez if Real come knocking!...

Much Delusion Ale still being drunk over Suarez. :D
CL or bust if the Poool want to even have a chance of keeping him.

"A "small club" that's been finishing ahead of you for years now....must be a tad embarrassing, what with you being a "big club" and all"

Paging "near bankruptcy" (I do love that one) etc ... :D

Transition mode !!! Love it !!! :D
Is Spurs "transition mode" this season smaller or bigger than the Poools' 4 seasons worth ??

Small club who have embarrassingly put the Poool to PL shame for 4 seasons running.
Poool = big embarrassment to the Sky 4.
