We've got to take comfort from the fact that we have stayed in touch for 4th all season. We all knew that Arsenal's lofty position was down to them having the easiest opening to a season in the entire history of football, but had we not made so many changes, and had we a decent manager, we'd be ahead of them, now. Of that, I am absolutely in no doubt. It all bodes well for the long-awaited North London Power-Shift.
'Pool have been so lucky this season. Saints won't take any of their chances, and 'Pool will score another to kill the game, late in the 2nd half. Bloody typical! Still, the consolation is that it consigns AFC's hopes of winning the title, once more, to the bin of fallen hopes and dreams.
Saints should be level, they are the better team, have hit the post, usual from a a smaller team outplaying a "bigger" club, but they find themselves 1 nil down.
Perhaps I should have said he'd have found himself OS! Credit LS for awareness to stay on. You're right though, first time I've seen it on TV and it was similar as you say, didn't look it from the P.Lane end on thur though.
FFS saints should really be level, they are battering Liverpool but if Liverpool manage to win this then that must be 4th sealed, as to get to this stage of the season and win when your playing poorly, means they will be virtually impossible to overtake.
You won't finish in the top two, City and Chelsea will finish top two but there is a chance of 3rd if the goons really screw things up.
SIlly me! we should never underestimate the spurs juggernaut lead by Sherwood and not forgetting the tactical input of Sir les!
"And that's a terrible dive from Daniel Sturridge. Dear oh dear!" (BBC commentary) Why do 'Pool players always see the need to cheat at every opportunity? It's pathetic!
Haha I used to hate when United fans and journalist used to keep saying that about Fergie side. But its good to say when its your own side!
Well no matter what I or anyone says, you're right up there, scoring for fun and I just had a look at your fixtures, you still have to play City and Chelsea at home. When was the last time we had a "surprise" league winner?
