I've just been looking through twitter and Graeme baily from skysports is saying spurs are the only team showing interest in Scott Parker but they are not prepared to spend more than £4million!

If i was bruce I'd be looking to put in an offer for him, quality player, scores goals and is a leader on the pitch! Would rather have him then gardener!

How much do you think he'd be worth? I would go as high as £7mil, still got a few years at the top level!

Looking at the match up in midfield with Newcastle, its clear they have the edge, especially physically. Colback and Gibson wont be able to stop Tiote and Catts is likely injured for that game. Im believing more and more that Scott Parker would be a decent shout, but he wouldn't come to us. Top 6 club he'll want. Silly wages too, not to mention he has a Newcastle past.

hes a good player but no way was he player of the season, typical london based clubs getting all the attention.

He wouldnt fit in up here hence the reason he left Newcastle, no thanks rather have Gardner myself

WH NEED to sell him though so other clubs can make low offers. He will be on his last "big" contract though with little / zero sell on value so even though he is good <£5m is realistic. Not for me though even though he is a quality player, he isn't our future.

Scott Parker only left the toon as they too far north and family were homesick.

I don't think us being 13 miles or so further south will be enough to make a difference, shame though.................

He may not be a player for the future but he definatly be a player for the present. I don't think you can have a team full of young players with potential, you need experience, especially to get you through bad runs! You need players the young lads will turn to, a leader on the pitch and Scott Parker would bring this quality to us, something we seriously lacked last season! Cattermole might eventually turn in to that leader but I do feel he's still to young and he himself could do with some guidance next to him in midfield!

Id rather see Catts Meyler and Colback develop. I think Parker is good but he was made to look good in an awfull west ham team where he was the only one trying. Id rather bring in Gardner or Gibson.

Your right, I would of loved to have kept zenden for one more season. He should have played more, especially during our bad run! I think it may have gone unnoticed but I think he needs replacing, someone with experience to play in midfield, that's why I mentioned Parker.
