Is it likely that the derby will be put on the sunday, 21st, instead of the saturday for tv and policing reasons. Need to know this as I can make the sunday but not the saturday what with holidays. Booked early thinking derbies dont come up early on in the season and normally this would have been great, but now I'm very very worried!

This is a dream come true for me. It's a **** time for the derby if we're honest, better when there's a bit of shape forming in the league, but i was always gonna come home for the first game, and for the derby, so i'm laughing. I'll be back for Chelsea as well mind, as we have lads come up from London who we've been pals with since the 2-3 when the Mags went, so it gonna be a pricey few weeks....

Dissapointed it's so early in the season. The start of the season is always exciting anyway and usually the Derby is normally an exiting prospect in the background and something to look forward to later.
Reading some of the posts this morning and I can't believe people don't like this 1st home fixture! Atmosphere will be electric! The majority seemed to be saying over the past couple of months that Bruce has had his honeymoon period, now it's up to him to prove any doubters wrong, he still has ample time to bring in the players he feels will bolster the team in our weaker areas. Barring a freakish game against Liverpool Bruce will have his strongest 11 out as will the Mags. Hopefully a sunny, hot summers day, new signings on show for the 1st time in front of a sell out crowd. Personally, I can't wait!
