Reet i'm not jealous at all Actually i am, but what's your plans for the final weekend? Who, where, what why. Coming from where, etc, etc, etc... I wanna konw, <sad>
Do ya really wanna know, do ya do ya? Drive down from Mansfield, on the Friday, with 1 son and stay 2 miles from Wembley 'til we leave on Monday morning. Saturday, meet up with other sons, mates and any passing Mackem ........... pub crawl, Covent Garden & TS. Sunday night, meal somewhere nice to contemplate before we go out round the town to celebrate
Few of us on here aren't fortunate enough to have got tickets are going to this at the Monty Suite. https://www.safc.com/tickets/dare-to-dream/latest-news/cup-final-screening Wish I could have gone to Wembley but the money changing hands on tickets is just crazy. Too rich for me. If we win I'll be heading into the centre to join the part in and around the pubs. What's your plans Com? Any bars there where sunderland fans could meet for the match?
No mate, i'm stuck in the arse end of northern thailand working. I will be watching, jealous as ****.
My sons second birthday Saturday March 1st so having family round for a little shin dig. Have to watch what i drink though cos I have to be up at about half 3 in the morning to get picked up by coach at 4:15 from Doxy roundabout.
Setting off at 8am saturday morning, driving into KT9 area to my cousins flat (should take around 4 1/2 to 5hrs), dump our gear, put beers in the fridge and head into waterloo station from surbaton station (30 mins), purchasing travel card en route, go for eats and start swilling heading towards trafalgar square for the big meet. Head back to flat for a reasonable hour (yeah right £40 in a taxi if it gets messy) Up and straight into wembley via same route aiming for 10am, choosing from list of boozers listed in the build up thread. Head to seat for 1:45 stopping for a beer in the concourse Que se ra se ra head back to flat for party or not as the case maybe head home around 1pm on the monday
See it's plans like this which really make me feel jealous. Enjoy your day fella. Sound like a great plan. Love that you only plan on eating once
Catching the train at 8am Sunday then meeting some mates for a few drinks then off to my club wembley seat to see us win a trophy and witness a bit of history. I can't bloody wait.
Depends where i end up mate, I never know, actually hoping to be home and watching it, and taking it all in, jealous as ****, but proud as owt.
Ta fella, i'll watch it one way or another (probably pissed for a change....not) I really am jealous as **** now... I've had all kind of thoughts running through my head, i'll leave i there....****
Travelling down friday staying at me cousins in kent. Going up london Saturday hunting for a ticket. Trafalgar square sat night and sunday morning. Hope to get a ticket if not a pub it is
I'm working that with a busy weekend of providing quality live entertainment () ...but I wish everyone a great and memorable weekend either travelling down to 'Lahndan' or attending the SOL celebrations -even so I will be watching us winning the match on tv
Very similar to above. Train from Newark to KC on sat lunchtime. If I don't have a ticket by then I'll be trying to get one in TS sat night then around Wembley on the day. Debating whether to pay online for club Wembley or to just hold my nerve and try to find one down there. What isn't helping is that I'll be on my own down there, making finding tickets more difficult and my chances of getting ripped off much higher.
Flying into Heathrow Friday evening and a few jars in town, then anything could happen I've been working my butt off, so that by then end of next Friday my 'work is done' until mid April. That means a spontaneous weekend can be had, so i could end up smahsed for 3 days starting off with anyone of Camden, Primrose Hill or Islington if out with my sis and pals. Saturday night i'll head down with her to Trafalgar for the mass congregation, a good old sing song and a swim, then up to Wembley on Sunday....for the first final i've seen live. Monday fly back to Helsinki around 6pm, so limited fear of missing my flight home. I'm sure i'll eat and sleep when needs be...and hopefully bump in to some of the crew off of here at some point.
Coach down to London on Saturday, drop bags at Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington, straight out on the lash with our young'un probs ending up in TS. After leisureley Breakfast in Hotel, coach to Wembley, few swift ones to calm any nerves. Straight back up to Durham after game. (work on Monday)
