I had already said he played on the wing for Chelsea and was nowhere near as effective as he is behind the striker. Your last line doesn't even make sense. I don't really understand why he plays him, as even Lescott and Nastasich are better, and when he plays him in midfield it baffles me even more, particularly when they have Gareth Barry on loan at Everton who for me is City's 3rd best CM behind Toure and Fernandinho

City weren't very good today at all. They are a completely different kettle of fish with Aguero in the team, he really makes a huge difference. Goes to show how good he is.
He's Pellegrini's kryptonite. Every manage seems to have a player or two they love and stay completely loyal to even though they contribute **** all. Pellegrini had him at Malaga and has brought him with. Similarly SAF had Anderson, Moyes has Fellaini, Rodgers has Allen, and Abramovich has Torres.
