The English club you've attached yourself to is steeped in history some sad but mostly happy, there's even reference to it all around Old Trafford but as you've never been there you wouldn't know that.

Ask real United supporters what the big clock signifies or ask who do the statues represent, history is as important to United as it is to any club and only plazzies like your good self diss it because it means nothing to you.

No, he didn't. Under AVB he was used briefly in a 4-3-3 on the left hand side but was completely ineffective at times and the system was changed to put him behind the striker.

Moyes is trying to play him on the left in a 4-2-3-1.

and prior to that in Valencia he was playing at wing too beside playing as AM
moyes is playing him more in the right tbh .. he switch him at times depending on who is the winger
when We played Mata some years ago facing Valencia i remember he started at the right wing .. in spanish league he was used more in the left .. the guy did operate as winger and AM back in valancia when he attracted the attention ..

He wasn't a winger, Spanish football is entirely different to English.

he did play as a winger alot .. now the QS if Spanish football fit to PL or not , that is a different matter
in chelsea he played as winger too many matches under many managers not only AVB.
are you telling me when Oscar was playing and hazard was at the left, Mata was the AM and Oscar playing at the right?

no we don't .. in modern football Rooney and mata can change position .. Mata is not type of wingers who hug the lines, he like to change to swap positions and go to the more central positions more .. we are talking about modern football .. if we want someone who hug the lines it will be Valencia
i have no problem with this lineup

    .......................RVP.........................
    ..............Rooney....Mata....................
    januzaj.............................Valencia...
    ....................Carrick........................

we need this formations in 90% of our matches facing sides who park the bus

A wide attacking midfielder and a winger are two completely different positions. One is primarily based out wide, hugging the touchline and expected to provide crosses. A pure winger is an almost dead position.

Wide attacking midfielders tend to cut in, switch positions and provide goal scoring support as well as assists. They tend to make very few crosses and you often get right footers playing left and vice versa. This allows them to cut in field.

Moyes has played mata more like a winger so far which is why hes been nothing more than ok. He made more crosses in time at United than he had in 4 times as many games with Chelsea.

We have two proven attacking mids who we consistently play left wing. It never worked. Rooney is better than both from the left which makes it even more baffling.

Jose got done tactically. City were playing with them in the 2nd half. Hazard nowhere to be seen.

Park the bus football even at 2 down <laugh>

Full strength liverpool v arsenal reserves kicks off.

This is the thing about liverpool, they wont come anywhere near next season unless they buy a whole second string as they have a very thing squad that beyond a few first teamers is awful.

People talk about united having a poor squad, liverpools couldn't cope playing on 4 fronts at all.

Next season for Liverpool will be very tough if they qualify for Europe.
