have you got Hoddle and Waddle, the single
Na...waddle spoils it.
have you got Hoddle and Waddle, the single
I've spent the evening with a semi-ITK lady who told me a few interesting things.
Apparently TF personally brought in McClaren for a number of reasons.
1. There was a stand off between TF and Harry last summer where TF wanted rid but Harry wouldn't go and was too expensive to sack.
2. TF bought in McClaren as his own man and made Harry work with him.
3. Harry didn't want McClaren.
4. TF expected Harry to move on at some stage.
Interesting stuff and makes sense.
TF has gone very very quiet in recent months and Amit is a non entity. Our media happy chairman suddenly has nothing to say. Another fâ¢â¢k up perhaps?
Do you think its appropriate for someone who was calling for the sacking of the Manager since before a ball was kicked this season, to not have one single replacement in mind out of all the hundreds of potential candidates out there? Isn't that just a case of mugging off the Club from top to bottom (including Fernandes), which any clown can do and then claiming he was right all along when, again, a three year old could do as good?
The very least that should be asked of an incessant critic is that he be able to put forward a theory for a better way. Or have our standards dropped that far?
In answer to the OP, I wouldn't sack Redknapp now. It would serve no purpose. At the end of the season it all depends whether we're in the Prem or the Champ. If we go up then he's earned a crack at it. If we don't and they come to a severance agreement then I'd go down the route of a Malky Macaky or perhaps even a Steve Clarke type Manager. I'd definitely keep it British.
But I'll tell you one thing for sure. Whoever we get in, Flyer will say its a bad appointment and want rid as soon as he loses a match. That much, I'm absolutely certain about.
I think we should give a woman the chance
I think Cheryl Cole would be very good
I don't want him gone
He stays and gets it right
Very interesting, that would suggest my theory is right that hes gone no matter what in the summer and thats why he wasnt backed in this window.I've spent the evening with a semi-ITK lady who told me a few interesting things.

If Flyer thinks it is a bad appointment he wont wait for us to lose a match.
I would have sacked Warnock the summer we went up, I wouldnt have bought in Hughes and I wouldnt have bought in Redknapp.
)(I) would be indifferent to someone like Mackay.
Well he won't respond to you, because he can't see your posts. Mine neither, comrade.
Truth is we are third in the table, albeit playing horrible, disjointed football. H won't and shouldn't be sacked. He should have walked last summer. I'm sure he looked at the squad we had when he agreed to come for £3.2 million a season and thought "you'd have to be an idiot to fail with this lot". To provide insurance he started to talk down our chances and belittle his squad almost immediately - he'd look even more of a miracle worker then. But he couldn't deliver, even with two thirds of the season yet to go. The last nine games (2 points!) were some of the most abject, spineless excuses for performances I have ever seen at any level, anywhere. Luckily H had laid the foundations of blame on others and racked it up in the last few weeks of the season. Then he gets to pick his own squad for the championship (although with some more financial commonsense applied) and builds something that is purely aimed at promotion this season. If he succeeds fine, though we will be back in Groundhog Day, overpaying for players either not quite good enough or not quite fit enough for the top level. Which is only bearable if they try their hearts out. If he doesn't succeed (and believe me I hope he does because I hate the Championship with a passion, I'd much rather see a brave team fail in the Prem and pick up £70m in the process than anyone walking over this dross) he should be shown the door very quickly indeed.
Very interesting post from Nuts. Hmmmm.......
I like FlyerExactly.
I would have sacked Warnock the summer we went up, I wouldnt have bought in Hughes and I wouldnt have bought in Redknapp. I think all 3 decisions are right.
Ill go off the deep end if fat sam is bought in but would be indifferent to someone like Mackay.
I don't want Redknapp gone, what would that achieve at this stage of the season?
A new manager wouldn't be able to bring in any players so I think we should stick with Harold.
The ignore feature on here is a crap idea on any forum if you ask me. Whats the point in offering an opinion if you cant here the opinion of others?
Well, I suppose if someone really upsets you but you don't want to worry about your blood pressure or spend your life moaning to the mods, its an option. In Flyer's case he just can't take authentic and well thought out challenge to his trite, repetitive sound bites. The point of dialogue is to give your opinion but equally to listen and occasionally change your mind as a result. Young Flyer is only interested in the first half of the equation, which is why, even when he is right, he is stunningly boring. I read his stuff, sometimes you get an interesting insight into the world of the passive paranoiac.
I like Flyer
A bigger wum than the wums while being serious
