Surely it depends if you're a betting man too? We're discussing Liverpool title credentials using odds as a gauge so thought the "best" may have been based on who is favourite
Your talking about "shortest" odds there Gerez. The best odds are ALWAYS the "longest" as they will pay the most for your desired outcome.
We have larger fan base- more likely getting more optimistic bets than Arsenal- so they have to protect themselves on the off chance we do win.
Some bookies still have Arsenal shorter but the Majority have Liverpool as the more likely: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winner These are gonna be changing game on game TBF.
Can Liverpool win it? Yes Will Liverpool win it? No We need both Citeh and the Chav's to hit a bad patch, one of them may but not both. Can see us sneaking 3rd above Le Arse. Still laughing at Golloms claims Utd will make the top 4, the bokes a bigger dick head than i give him credit for being.
Think our odds are skewed because we were at such long odds at the beginning, bookies don't want to lose to much if a miracle does occur.
The best price on em doing it is 11/1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-4-finish I wouldn't touch that price with a bargpole, its f**king daylight robbery and shows how Utd are always overpriced due to thousands of estate agents and stock brokers in Surrey (who know sweet FA about football) backing em! Should be 33/1 at least IMO.
If hes smart he'll lay it off. I backed Pool for top3 a couple of weeks ago and can already cash out for 33% profit. I'm gonna let it ride for a while yet though, as ive got a good feeling about Pool. PS: Probs cursed it now!
William Hill's Premiership Title odds. 6-5 Man City 6-4 Chelsea 7-1 Arsenal 7-1 Liverpool # 8-1 Last week 100-1 Tottenham 300-1 Man Utd 750-1 Everton
Best odds from Odds checker City 7/5 Chelsea 6/4 Arsenal 8/1 Liverpool 8/1 Spurs 300/1 United 400/1 Everton 1000/1 Top scorer? Suarez 1/6 on!! Sturridge 6/1 Aguero 25/1 RVP 50/1 Sturridge at 6's doesn't look too bad considering he's 5 behind.
Way things are going... I think Sturridge may be more likely than Suarez to get most goals. Studge bound to hit poor patch eventually and Suarez will score again... but Suarez is a provider now and won't be getting as many.
