**** right off. Not one single person has offered a name that would do a better job much less one we could attract. And, measuring success as being only when you win every domestic tournament you enter is ******ed. The Rangers 9 in a row team only did one treble and Celtic have only ever had 3 in our history (67, 69 and 2001 when Bordeaux knocked us out of Europe in the 2nd round). Rangers and Celtic fans do my tits in sometimes with their myopic oneupmanship.
Right, **** this **** bib. Lennon has had TWO full seasons without ANY challenge. The league title is in the bag. The ONLY things worthwhile are the CL and the domestic cups. With the players and resources at his disposal we should be walking them (the cups, not the CL obviously). We got pumped out the League Cup by Morton. Fucking Morton! We then get papped out the Scottish Cup, AT HOME, with a performance which should have seen the manager and every player hand their wage for that week to charity because they didn't deserve a penny for that performance. It was the ONLY GAME that mattered for the rest of the season and they didn't even look like they could give a ****. Lennon's job is to motivate them and send them out with a winning mentality. They went out with a "I could play in baffies and this daft **** would still pick me every week" attitude.
The most interesting thing about your book for me was the man at the back with the hat and tache. After extensive research I can exclusively reveal that the altruistic figure at the back is the poster we normally and shamefully forget about. It's former plantation owner Monacoger. ,
Lennon's had it piss easy, much like McCoist does. I could squeeze out a ****e that could manage CelGers to title wins. Scottish football is bollox, what's the point in it? My son forces me to go to Ibrox to watch some of the ****test quality soccer that I've ever seen at Ibrox. I've had a season book since I was 10, a good 8 years ago, and I've never been so disenchanted with a club with a player pool like ours struggling to beat social carers and binmen. I'm imagining the BHEAST fans are in the same boat. Winning all the time is boring, and even more boring is winning with **** performances. I'd rather get beat playing exciting soccer then win playing ****e.
Two full seasons in charge. Season 1: Wins league Wins Scottish Cup Knocked out of League Cup by Winners Get through tough qualifying rounds Come out of a group of Barca, Spartak and Benfica to reach last 16 with squad that cost 10 gingy bottles and a book of green shield stamps Efficiently dealt with by a classy Juve team Season 2: Wins league (probably) Gets knocked out of League Cup by Morton Gets knocked out of Scottish Cup by a good Aberdeen side Negotiate ridiculous CL qualifiers Disappointing CL results Season two not as good as season one. Manager wins league, qualifies against odds for CL but gets sack/pushed out because he didn't win a domestic cup. What the **** is this? Italy in the nineties?
Years ago, I sugested Celtic shouldf go for a manager who has achived success on a restricted budget. In my opinion, Celtic should be looking for a european manager to help us take the next step in europe - minimum requirement of 3rd in a Champions League group should be the goal set each season. Lennon is tactically naive in Europe... Playing Ambrose the day he arrives back from ACoN duty as a major example of a monumental **** up.
Whit? Seriously, whit? How is struggling to beat some team from the arsehole of nowhere against the odds?
I wanted Bilic at the time as well but you've both got to admit we dodged a bullet. He caused a bit of fuss over his money and Besiktas gave him 800,000 a year. He would've got us Pletikosa (who I also wanted at the time) who had pretty outrageous wage demands as well. Bilic is a zoomer - he insists on smoking tabs in the dugout which has got him into bother and he released a song called "Fiery Madness" FFS. I was wrong about Bilic - I'm glad we didn't get him.
This season = abject failure. No matter what spin you put on it. Sold some of the better players, replaced them with mince. Scraped into the CL in extra time against some China-touching sheep-slicers. Unceremoniously pumped like a two-bob hoor in the group stages. Gubbed out both cups in the early rounds. Never mind the club espousing the same auld ****e about budgets, works-in-progress and imaginary £6-8m players.
Cos the bookies had them down as favourites after the first leg? Cos they're team cost twice as much as ours?
