Why are we doing that?
I'll speculate that it's a Lennon looking for the rub of an undefeated season.
Now we ****ed a whole load of fans to play in that Turkish tournament. The silver lining was that the young bhoys played and did a great job. My hope was that playing so well would have been the catalyst to get a few more of those lads into the big team.
My fear is that the undefeated season which includes 6 European defeats and 2 cup humpings is an ego trip that won't bring the kids on in any way, shape or form.
The biggest problem with the league is that it is driving fans away because there is no competition - yet everyone is screaming because we are being beaten in the cups... 
he has started twice for Melbourne Victory and been outstanding. A good friend of mine is a coach at Perth Glory, after the recent game he said to me that Rogic caused them problems all night and they were struggling to contain him. He is an attacking midfielder where as chico is only an attacking midfielder if lennon has nowhere else to put him
Lennon doesn't trust youth unless he has his hand forced. That's what I think. A player like Rogic, raw but with obvious ability, was always going to need time to bed in in Scottish football, yet he got **** all chances and has now been farmed back to Australia. I understand that will help him in a WC year and I really hope he goes, but i'd love to have seen him get more game time at Celtic. Lennon loves Commons too much though.
I also hate the fact we continue to play 4-4-2. With Europe a certainty, Lennon should be brave enough to play other formations, mix it up a bit, and at least make it look like he's got his eye on next season's CL push. It just seems like, for the past wee while, we've been stagnating and not moving forward as we should have been.
The thing is, we pretty much need an overhaul of the squad because we have far too many passengers now. Mouyokolo (injured but he's mince anyway), Zaluska (clearly not good enough), Kayal (had enough chances), for starters.
I would love to see a clear out of the following players too, who have been there a while and who no longer deserve their place yet Lennon sticks with them: Stokes, Izzy, Forrest, Samaras (he's off anyway I suppose).
We actually have a decent spine to our team, with Lustig, VVD, Matthews, Johansen, Brown, Griffiths, Commons. Pukki - and I thought he was **** - actually looks like he could be a good player for us, and Balde is still raw and could get better with game time. Plus, he's our only real 'target man' option.
Players I am unsure on still are Mulgrew, Ambrose who is an absolute bombscare at times, and Derk. Derk's had injuries but any time I've seen him, he looks like he's lost.

If its not an achievment winning the scottish league , why do the huns go on about 54 titles and their great 9 in a row team , a team that got thrashed by Ajax and Juventus in europe and knocked out the scottish cup by Hamilton ????

Dont you know it doesnt count when Rangers are not there (like that is somehow Celtic and the other teams fault)
I'm not sure when it will start counting again. Perhaps if the new rangers get to the SPL it will count, although if they have no money we may have to wait until they have some enough to build a decent team to count it, maybe when Dave King takes over and invests £1billion (that he doesnt have). I'm sure they will let us know. They'll probably start counting again around about the time the new rangers are clear at the top of the league

We'd be better off just having Lennons starting 11 - and no other senior players on the books.
He will play the same 11 anyway and then at least in the event of an injury/suspension he'd have to try out a youth player

Harryselectivememory mer like. The Hamilton game came two seasons before the 9 in a row team. Sure we got thrashed by Juventus and Ajax. One were the current champions while the other was a fairly recent winner. Ironically both these teams featured in your recent European capitulations. We never let in six all the same
To be fair, you could say that at least seven of Rangers 9IAR titles were achieved "without any credible competition."

Don't ban ML. I think Jiffy should be allowed back on the Gers board now. He had a day of madness, but he sure wasn't Albatross or anywhere near it.
