2 years ago we got the best treble , league , cup and Rangers passing away , this season we blew the cups , the league is in bag , with entry into the champions league and the new Rangers on their to going bust again . The minute we lose an important game , you remember the real situation , our club is alive and kicking , not playing third tier football against part timets every week .

Another one happy with what is being achieved down parkhead way :1980_boogie_down:

O'Neil spent double what lennon and strachan spent and achieved less.
In what way?

The Monkeys redoubled their cheating after O'Neill took charge. If you remember the patter was that we were 5 years behind them when he took over.

Time skews things a little bit and the fitba under O'Neill wasn't always great and his stinking by his favourites pissed us all off.... But... It wasn't like this tax efficient bawbag who has taken responsibility for the grand total of zero of his defeats as our manager.

You keep saying we are drluded for thinking Lennon is a great manager.....and yet the next thread is a debate over whether he should be sacked!!

It is more likely that Lennon will win a treble than the "queen's eleven" coming back...

In fact, It's more likely that I'll score the winner in the cup final to secure that treble than the "queen's eleven" coming back.

Irrespective of outgoing transfers, we have spent £12.5m this season on players.

MON would have been able to spend that on 2 or 3 players and get a free transfer or twp in and use kids to pack the squad.

We have bought about 9 players with that money and yet we start the same 11 every week pretty much!

Teams are already stepping into the vacuum left by Rangers and not bankrupting themselves in the process

Celtic are effectively winning this league within their means, which if they were to continue to do so up to 9 titles in a row would absolutely eclipse the Souness/Smith 9iar

It might even get near Jock Stein's league achievement

Only then will we buy the hover pitch
