Rodgers and Martinez flew the coop for there own good , Laudrup stayed for the team unity and got thrown under the bus by an ungrateful , sneaky board and some ungrateful fans .

Another mind reader , I swear dai , your so full of it sometimes , your eyes most be brown

I thought it was odds on that Laudrup was leaving at the end of the season regardless.

Well it would had been after it was leaked by all at the club and loyal ML didn't once deny it.

I'm sure he reads the speculation or maybe he doesn't have a TV, phone and internet. Like 'I haven't heard anything' Huw Jenkins. :cheesy:

So , whats your point valley , youd like to make a bet . How this season ended , with Laudrup in control , would have dictated what he would have done . There are some on here that I'm glad would never be in a position to have my back , I pity their friends frankly

There is only one person who is responsible for getting Laudrup the sack.............Laudrup himself...end of....

Odds with the bookies does not in any way indicate the intentions of the man .... it causes too many people to jump to conclusions. Nothing had ever been stated by anybody - especially Laudrup himself - that he was leaving at the end of this season.

And even if he did at the end of the season decide that he wanted to leave, that wouldn't happen without a buy-out of his contract by either himself or another club, or a mutual zero-cost termination. Which ... quite frankly is a standard quid pro quo in contracted employment. He signed the contract extension last year. He didn't have to. He may very well have signed another extension at the end of this season. Nobody but Laudrup knows how this would have worked out.

Which was a repeat of the three wingers we played against West Brom at home the previous season, which destroyed them in the first half. The three wingers was a Laudrup move ... originally.

Did he invent that way of playing then?

Garry Monk made the decision.

Just like he made the hard decision to select Emnes in the starting 11 which paid off, and Chico + Ben Davies.

Unless the current leader is a liar, he was going. <ok>
