Following on from the previous question, which three comedians recreated the journey described in Three Man in a Boat for a BBC television series?
Thanks Roller, I enjoyed the series too. Which player has scored goals in all of the following competitions (in loose order of importance)? Champions League English Premier FA Cup Europa League English Championship Scottish Premier English League Cup Scottish Cup English League 1 Scottish League Cup English League 2 Conference
I was originally trying to think of a former top, top player who didn't want to retire and kept playing as he dropped down through the leagues, but I kept coming up with names of players too old to have played in the Champions league. Then I thought Gary Hooper? Nice question by the way.
Thank you mate. The Loco Motion, Don't Bring Me Down, Pleasant Valley Sunday, I'm Into Something Good, One Fine Day, Chains, Some Kind Of Wonderful, Take Good Care Of My Baby and Crying In The Rain were all mega-hits for various artists. Which woman wrote or co-wrote them all?
Twins can be arsed, so: What is the link between QPR and Dulwich Hamlet FC? (Sooper, you are under a restraining order on this one....)
err, possibly, though not the answer I had in mind. Whats the link Tel? OK, looked it up, he was loaned there. What's the other link, of a more managerial nature?
I think he was loaned to Dulwich while a youngster at Tottenham. If it wasn't him it was another player that was earlier this century before playing for us. Perhaps we need to check out wiki on this one? Just have sb. Definitely played for both clubs. Other than that, did we ever play in their salmon & pink colours?
No argument about Crouch playing for them, but someone much more substantial (in my view) to our history did too.
Sorry sb. I only read the first line earlier! I have two possibilities with a managerial link, but both are really ony guesses. Gordon Jago or Dave Sexton may have been involved with them before reaching professional circles. Am I right in thinking that Champion Hill used to be able to hold 70,000?
