Most don't ask tho. My mate does it due to him being off ill for 5yrs. He hasn't even been asked when the last time he worked. They just asked him about his jobs etc.

When I was shown how to carry out a interview I said should I ask about the dates they worked. The answer was no, aslong as the job list helps them to get the job they are after it doesn't matter.

Plus if I am seen as turning a person down for a job that hasn't worked for a time(for any reason) I could get in trouble.

Most places now don't even phone up your last place of work.

Except that now I have the time I am far too knackered or skint to do all those things I wanted to do when I was young.

    That's reassuring.

Though because I'm the social media officer at Portsmouth Ladies, and have been since Jan of last year, I have that in my CV as Jan 2012 - Present which makes my CV look a lot better and blank-free since Jan of last year. Sure it's not a 9-5, but a job's a job. And tbf I do spend quite a bit of time working on Pompey Ladies social media stuff.

Something people do when they've failed at life and haven't managed to find a better alternative.

So staying at home playing PS4 all day means I've succeeded at life?

    Watching the Sochi opening ceremony.

Only four of the five rings were displayed. The one that didn't, the red ring for America.

    Hey, I'm sure it's nothing...

Watching it too. Like the fact the map of the country is projected on the stadium floor when they come out. Very nice.

Also, don't Russia use red as well?

As long as you're able to do that while keeping a roof over your head and food in the fridge, you're winning.

That or you've found a fantastically easy way to earn money. I'm sure such a thing exists and just none of us have put a finger on it.

Kinda risky. Honestly I think the money is about right for the risk to your life. Like how oil rig workers earn a ton. Also you do still have to put a decent amount of time in and get out of the house if you want to make proper money.
