Hello lads,

not sure if you can post anything like this here if you can't then feel free to delete.

Just a little appeal to any lads out there who may have an old yellow 09-10 away shirt in the bottom of the drawers no longed being worn.
I have 10 of them already and I am after 2 or 3 more to make a set for a team in Nairobi, Kenya.
Much appreciated if anyone has one and can pm me.
Will email you a photo when the team is out there wearing them.

If you ever go to Kawangware slums in Nairobi you will be surprised how many Toon tops you will see the amount i have managed to get over there the last 7-8 years. I have turned many a young lad from a Gooner to a Mag.

Your hard work now will pay dividends as many an African lad will grow up wanting to be our number 9.
 
Can't happen at the moment sadly. We had a young lad 16 over here in July. Liverpool, Palace, Bolton and Leeds all wanted him. I then offered him to the Toon and they said they were interested as well. In the end we got turned down a work permit as Kenya are not ranked high enough with FIFA.

So if Messi was Kenyan they'd tell him to stick it? If he's got it who cares where he comes from? Poor lad.
 
Not much can be done, Mourinho and Chelsea had to beg and appeal at immigration to get Willian in at £28m.
 
I gave one of my old shirts away to a lad in Uganda when I was there. I was invited to play for a 'staff' team at a vocational college we were visiting against a team of students. I had an old Shearer shirt with me, so I put that on to play. The student team had a young player (probably no more than 13/14) who was the best player there, better than a team of adults and a team of students. At the end of the game I went up to him and gave him the Shearer shirt. He saw the name on the back and gave a huge smile, he knew who shearer was! He then went back to his team-mates with the biggest grin I have ever seen, proudly displaying his new shirt. Several of them had Henry shirts on (Arsenal is the biggest team out there, because of the Emirates influence). This young lad then goes on to have an in depth discussion with them as to who was the better player.

I know its not relevant, but it did make me smile to see that great players and their teams can affect people's lives far away from the field where they play. And I also told the young boy that when he is the best player in the world, he must remember that Newcastle are the team he needs to play for :)

Willian did not have enough international caps to get a work permit even though Brazil are obviously ranked high enough with FIFA.
The only way around it is to get the players into a European club such as in Belgium like we did with Wanyama and then move them on to England after that.

Mod Face, no there is no keeper top with the 10 I have.
