this is a very interesting situation about calibre of players being brought in. Correct me if I am wrong, but the "swansea way" has not been to go out and spend stupid money and stupid wages on "superstars".
THe biggest asset of our club was not the individuals (which seems to be what is breeding) but the sum of all parts with a teamworking ethic, something which has clearly been lacking (and gradually losing week in week out). Out strengh always has been getting the best out of players who were not utilised in the correct way at previous clubs.
Where has the closing down of opposition players gone high up the pitch? What about the magic triangles that every pundit used to have wet dreams over?
These only worked by working as a complete unit. The sooner the team work as a team, the better off we will be.
I jsut hope that Monk is able to get us back to being a team.
