But to get to the point we are at took considerable investment, starting from nil. I'm sure the spending will slow down and the debt capped as you said before at approx. 100 million. This means we have to break even on our income. At that point our owner will be able to take a Large wage, interest on loans plus fees every year. This could be as much as 6.5 million pa. Or in premier league terms, If the owner wasn't taking this money out, we could buy another player plus wages instead.

I would soon Assem Allam rewarded himself for his efforts so far (all done out of his own pocket) than have one more Danny Graham type player in the squad.

I have no issue with AA getting a return on his investment, or on him eventually getting his investment back, I just believe he's flying by the seat of his pants.

I think it is fair to say we need to avoid relegation this season to be able to consolidate our position on and off the pitch. Flying by the seat of his pants isn't a bad analogy looking at the table but I am confident we will stay up and thrive. Onwards and upwards you Mighty Tigers.

Bring on the spuds.

This a piss take or what?

A total non story. Just a story made up from a Tim Sherwood press interview after Spurs got there backsides waxed by Man City 1-5 on wednesday night.

As for Tim Sherwood he is now on borrowed time. The sack awaits him in the summer as Spurs dont have a prayer of getting into the CL now.

Daniel "The Hood" Levy has the axe in his hands Tim.

Are we talking about the untried manager who had the best start in Spurs' history?

They're only one point off fourth ffs.

So what FFS. Read what i posted.

Spurs are not good enough for a top 4 spot. They have it all on for 5th place. Watch Man Utd go now they have Mata signed up and RVP and Rooney back fit.

The top 3 are sorted club wise. 4th spot is between Liverpool and Man Utd imo. Liverpool should take it if they carry on like they are doing.

Not like you to over react Tickler.

Isn't that Sherwood's first league defeat? To the best team in the world no less.

A couple of Spurs "ITK's" on a fairly respected Spurs forum reckon that Livermore is either signing perm with you guys today or just staying on loan for the time being.

Lol he's staying with us for the rest of the season and we don't need any ITK's to know that.

The daily hate just loves to put up new articles. The quality in some of them is just shocking (do they employ proof-readers?) and they modify them on the fly.

Apparently it's a great newspaper to work for because you get almost carte blanche to write whatever you want.

Hope you're right. We've just loaned Holtby out and Capoue has been linked with a move away all window, depending on whether Sherwood feels we still have enough depth in the CM department (or something's being lined up) there may be a slight chance of recalling him if it's allowed. Hope it doesn't happen, we'd be better off cashing in on Jake if the right offer is available as there really isn't much of a future for him here. A shame as he's a local lad who most want to see succeed.

You had to give us 24 hours notice to recall, and since there's less than 24 hours to go and you haven't given said notice, then yeah he's staying.

How do you know the notice hasn't been given? Just because the media picked up on it last night doesn't mean initial contact wasn't made far earlier.
