I think there could be some truth in the torygraph story.
My guesses for tomorrow:
-We loan a striker in
-We get a CM (either buy or loan)
I think there could be some truth in Wengers words "Draxler is an illusion". I think the whole story was invented by the press, recirculated and started to live its' own life. I gathered details, some stuff like buyout clause which was taken for granted, only for Schalke to explain weeks later that there was no clause whatsoever anymore. I guess Wenger has had some tentative interest in Draxler some time ago, but all the rest is just media snowball and fans are buying it. I think both Wenger and Draxler are LOL if they are reading it all. I belive Schalke when they say there was no contact and no offer from Arsenal.
BBC Sport's David Ornstein
No Draxler for Arsenal
"Arsenal will not be signing Julian Draxler from Schalke after deciding they are unwilling to meet the German club's asking price.
"The Gunners were interested in bringing the 20-year-old Germany attacking midfielder to Emirates Stadium this transfer window, but they have decided against proceeding with the move.
"Schalke reportedly wanted around 45m euros for Draxler but the Arsenal board and manager Arsene Wenger had a lower valuation.
"The only deal Arsenal are understood to be considering before the Friday 23:00 GMT deadline is the acquisition of a player on loan until the end of the season."
Vucinic or Berba? Who would you rather?
Too many usually reliable sources involved for this not to be at least near the facts......
Rumours on Twitter that we're after Kim Kallstrom, who's now at Spartak Moscow. He's 31, has 108 caps for sweden, and was good about 10 years ago
