AC Milan have confirmed that QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt has arrived in Italy to complete his loan deal to the San Siro.

The Morocco international was on loan to Fulham but is now due to sign for Clarence Seedorf's side.

Taarabt has not scored in 12 Premier League outings this season, but will be hoping to change that barren run during his stay in Serie A.

Taarabt told Milan Channel: "I'm honoured to be able to play for the best club in the world.

"I spoke with Seedorf and we're both happy to work together. I'm an attacker and I like to play behind the strikers."

Speaking about the prospect of playing with Mario Balotelli and Kaka, the 24-year-old said: "I don't know Balotelli personally but I know who he is and it's pleasing to be able to play with him and with Kaka."

Considering all the hysterical Taarabt haters on here who make mocking comments about him signing for a big club, if this goes through those people (you know who you are) will be having to tuck into to a nice slice of humble pie

Good luck to him if this comes off. With Seedorf he will hopefully for the first time since promotion be well managed by someone he respects. He is still young and still learning and growing up. I hope he performs to his undoubted potential at a higher level and proves that he was all along too god for us but thanks for single handedly getting us promotion in the best season of my life.

This.

I still cling to the hope that he might return to his best with us though. Preferably after Redknapp has left to take up the newly vacant Stoke job.

most importantly after they get relegated. Hughes is a prick who will resign with 1 game left in the season so he can say hes "never been relegated".

He did tell us on more than one occasion (usually during the close season) that he was being pursued by some of the world's finest teams, and now he has proved it.

He may have got the move, but let's see how he does. Don't forget the American defender Ogewyu was with AC Milan (when they were better than they are now) and he couldn't get a game ahead of Clint Hill.

If I'm proved wrong then I'll hold my hands up and I wish him all the best at AC Milan, but I wouldn't be shocked if he makes minimal impact during his time there. He couldn't even shine against Sheffield United.

Quite funny that even when he looks like signing for AC Milan you attempt to having a dig at him by saying it isn’t that great because Onyewu went to Milan and he didn’t get a game for us. Well guess what….

Onyewu didn’t get a game for Milan either- got a knee injury after signing for them and then never played a game for them.

So overall a very poor attempt at having a dig

And the b*gger scored the winner for The Owls against Rochdale.

Well done Taarabt and really best wished from me.

I hope his career takes off and i am sure it will now.

I also know that he loved QPR as I choose to believe the French papers not the crap here.

I also believe that he won't stop there and could and should become a world star.

Very proud to be QPR today ... SB73 may even join you if you go over and watch him in Milan

Outstanding Adel

Harold on course to now come out as say that he is brilliant and he had him at Spurs etc etc ... but like Cesar they had to play at a top club. or he was a dressing room cancer as I saw quoted from him recently.

I will go to my grave knowing hat we had Adel Taarabt playing for us and we loaned him out instead I would have built around him ... No one can tell me that our current side isn't strong enough to play Taarabt in it currently and that is credit to Harold ... Good for Adel for winning over Harold I say and even wanting away

If we could combine Adel's technical skills with the attitude of someone like Mackie or even Joey we would have one of the best players in the world.

Last chance saloon I think.
