We're taking the piss out of HIAG on his "mouser watch" thread tbh, most of us aren't taking the piss out of spurs fans in general, hence the wumming normally stays on this thread

<wah> Shut up crying. This thread was started by your resident ***** to take the piss out of Liverpool fans and its now backfiring so if you cant take a bit of stick without having a hissy fit then don't come on here because it will get a lot worse if we finish ahead of the pitiful spuds and their amazing goal difference.

I don't have any problem with most of you guys, and a bit of harmless piss taking is, I suppose, what this thread is all about. It's just the odd irritating idiot that comes here and takes liberties that I take umbrage with.

You are so full of ****:

1. Sherwood is a good manager for you.
2. Everybodies players have to gel, and teams continue to gel, Suarez and Sturridge will just get better the more they play and understand each other.
3. If you do get good and players shine, they will leave to go to a better club. We can actually hold onto our best players sometimes.

Half your new arrivals already want out, others in the squad post piss taking photos when you lose, you have been smashed at home on a few occassions this season. Spurs have become a massive joke since Bale has left.
This thread has massively backfired.

Disclaimer: Im not saying we will win the league or even get fourth, but im proud of our progress, I think id be embarrassed to be a Spurs fan at the moment.

I get it.

Spurs fans are allowed to the take the piss and no one else is! My opinion isnt determined by what others have written in front of me.

This thread has backfired becuse it was created to wind up us pool fans. Now entirely relaxed pool fans come on here to laugh at Spurs.

Although HIAG started this article for WUMmery, its underlying premise is sound.
Specifically : the arrogant delusion that the Poool have a divine right to anything because of their past.

You haven't won the league for 20 odd years because you are no longer any good.
You have finished in the PL below a "small" club such as Spurs for the past 4 (perhaps soon to be 5)
seasons for the same reasons. Whether that period will also stretch out to 20 odd yrs, time will tell.

Could be worse, for the best part of ten years Newcastle fans thought they had a divine right to win everything because...anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Quite right, football evolves, teams evolve, players leave, managers leave. Its all a very brittle affair

Im fully acceptant that these are good times at the moment and there could be a big pile of **** for us to fall in around the corner.

I think all this divine right stuff is absolute bollocks. every Liverpool fan I know wants us back at the top, but i dont know any who expect it or think we have the right to be there.

"I think all this divine right stuff is absolute bollocks."

Poool 606 of all compass points beg to differ.
And in the case of Spurs, not as if the Sky 4 did not get forewarning of PL stirrings at WHL
well before May 2010.

I think there is only one person who is upset around here. Even his name says he is sufferring.

Its okay though. Id be upset if my team got spanked by 5 goals last night.

ps: im extremely impressed that I have learnt how to write with tone. Later on this evening I am going to practice speaking in italics

See for all this "oh we're not here to take the gloat", "we know we're not there yet" you guys always let yourselves down and show up the side of you that we all know and love to laugh at. You've done well to get to where you are but there's 15 games left and you only have 3 points more than us, yet you guys already have your heads in the clouds as the mighty Liverpool rise back to their rightful place in the top 4 :p

I don't know if we'll finish above you but it wouldn't half be funny since you guys have started gloating halfway through the season. And to think you accuse us of arrogance <laugh>

Just for a little perspective about these normal service claims, the last time that Liverpool finished above Spurs, Portsmouth started the season as FA Cup holders and played against Milan in the UEFA Cup.
They're now in 18 place in the 4th tier.

You don't think tone can exist in writing?

tone
Line breaks: tone
Pronunciation: /təʊn

2. the general character or attitude of a place, piece of writing, situation, etc.: trust her to lower the tone of the conversation there was a general tone of ill-concealed glee in the reporting

http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/tone

Italics are actually a good way to add tone to text so by attempting to speak in italics you'd be just adding tone to speech as everyone does anyway. For example, you can give a sentence a sarcastic tone with italics like this: "RedBrynner has really put NSIS in his place". See?

Yes, I'm upset by last night's result. We almost certainly would have lost anyway, but some incompetent officiating certainly didn't help the eventual scoreline,...

Perhaps you should practice your spelling, too!...it seems to be " sufferring" <laugh>
