Graham did join in the celebrations, but he wasn't the first to arrive.

Ok. Didn't see him in there on our TV feed. The others were all over Fryatt behind the goal and Graham seemed to be walking in the other direction.

In fairness he'd run to the wrong spot, realised his error then had to backtrack to the celebrating players almost missing it.

Fryatt will be a great player to bring on when we are chasing a game, his all round game just isn't good enough for a full 90 in the premier league IMO, alternatively Sagbo will be brilliant to bring on to hold the ball up when we are trying to see out a game.

I would keep Matty Fryatt, even if he is a impact sub. However depends on SB thinking, he seems to always have the players future in mind, and if he doesn't see him getting at least a regular place in the starting line up or on the bench, then he will try to sell him, and let him get regular football, as there is only 6 month left on his contract.

There is no doubt that his stock will have risen over the last few weeks, with his first EPL goal, and his performance yesterday.

Graham may have missed his last shot for Hull

For two members of Hull City’s team the scuffed pitch and high winds made Roots Hall a dilapidated Last Chance Saloon. One man stood his ground, the other didn’t. With Steve Bruce putting his money on Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long, the futures of Matty Fryatt and Danny Graham look thin. Each had two chances at Southend. Fryatt took his, Graham did not. The 28-year-old’s £5m transfer from Swansea a year ago was a dreadful piece of business. His return to his native North-east with Sunderland did not produce a goal and made him miss the League Cup final. His loan at Hull has produced one goal; now another exit beckons.

Hard to argue. Graham was beyond awful on Saturday. Fryatt on the other hand was excellent throughout.

I really hope we don't sell him. The advantages of keeping him around the squad are plenty, especially if he really has found his scoring boots.

But there again if we received a serious offer, it would be hard not to consider it.

I wonder what his approximate value is? £1m-ish? More?

A fella at work reckons Barnsley are in pursuit of Fryatt, to go up front with Proschwitz.

    He's a Barnsley ST holder.

Buckingham seems to think we'll sell if we get a decent offer.
