I'm the England manager in my career and I've just played a last sixteen game against Germany. It end 1-1 after extra time which, of course, meant penalties...I WON!!! <yikes>

Welbeck not in the squad. I reluctantly have Jones because there are a lack of options (I'm in 2018) but he was no where near the penalties!
 
I lost in the next round to Belgium. 2-1 after extra time <doh>

Just bought a 28yr old Sakho for Stags though, immediately made him captain too <diva>
 
Ok so I've got to the point in my Liverpool career where pretty much created an awesome team.

4 season in and team is.

Carvajal Sakho Ilori Shaw
Oscar Veratti Coutinho
Xhaka Muriel Neymar

Sold Sturridge for £40m after 1 season, sold Suarez for £78m after 3rd season and sold De Sciglio for £29.5m

Have Draxler, Bakkali, Gaël Bigirimana (who is ridiculously good after a couple of seasons).

Think it's time I started a new career in the lower leagues.

Currently involved with Ultimate team until the winter update comes out, then will work on my LFC career and Palermo career. <ok>

Be warned, it's difficult.

Also, if you have points (the bronze coins) up and are able to purchase a "takeover", wait until you at least get to the Championship before using it. I did it in the first season (hence me have a lot of the Liverpool youth players such as Suso, Tex, Flanno, Yesil and Wisdom) plus Luke Shaw and Ross Barkley too. I also signed Pacheco on a pre-contract so got him for free at the end of the first season, had to pay him £40k per week though hence needing the takeover.

I found that once I got to the Championship, it was very difficult. I had a "transitional" season in that league (in other words, I managed to get mid-table whilst the players developed) before gaining promotion via the playoffs the next year. Finding the Premier League very hard as my team is probably of title challenging Championship side / relegation fodder. I'm in my second season in the premier League now and it isn't much better.

I've gone back to UT now. I had a very good team but no chemistry so after our discussion the other day, I decided to create a new Premier League based team <ok>

I can't get into UT. I know you have to buy packs and stuff to get decent players... but never earn enough coins to be able to afford it so stuck with the crap players you get given to start with.

You know you can play UT against the computer right? You don't have to play against other online users. Just do this and win the tournaments to build up your coins. After your first tournament win, go and buy a load of long term contracts (about 300 coins for 28 game contracts for gold players) and then you can just keep playing to build up a pot <ok>

You won't get enough for someone like Suarez (65k coins) but you can put a pretty good side together.
