Which also means not only did we already need a strong Midfielder but that may be Lucas career crocked and may have to look again in the summer.

Really sad for Lucas he's been a good player for us but the club probably needs to move on, meaning two new CDMs his replacement and the cover we already needed.

Really struggling here <doh> come across this

A photo has appeared online suggesting that Liverpool target Mohamed Salah has rented a property in the city.

The Basel star has been widely linked with a move to the Reds during the current transfer window.

Now, a screenshot appearing to show a Direct Debit set up in Salah’s name has been posted on Reddit.

The information suggests that the Egypt international has rented a £850-a-month apartment on Princes Parade (incorrectly shown as Princess Parade on the screenshot) for the next seven months.

If it is true, the member of staff at estate agents Venmores who leaked the details is likely to be seeking new employers of their own very soon.

I could make that on my computer right now...

Italian deals are not only weird as **** but a lot of them between rivals:

16.34 GMT: ESPN's James Horncastle has delved into the murky world of deals between Juventus and Inter in the wake of the proposed swap deal for Mirko Vucinic and Fredy Guarin -- here's a snippet:

"Whatever happens the Vucinic-Guarin affair has told us a lot about where both clubs are at. If it goes through, it will only add to the impression that in this rivalry the exchange rate (Boninsegna for Anastasi / Cannavaro for Carini) is nearly always favourable to Juventus, not to Inter."

How the **** did this go under the radar?? He was at one time one of the most promising fullbacks in the world too...

16.50 GMT: DONE DEAL! In case you missed it yesterday, Sao Paulo have completed the signing of Inter full-back Alvaro Pereira on an 18-month loan deal.

Dante would be a good signing for Man Utd but he's already 30 years old and they would need another eight signings as they currently only have a front pairing and even they are part-time.

Eriksen and Mata, two players we should have tried to at least of bid for.

Will be pissed off if Mata goes to that sinking ship (United)

Lucas out two months could cost us Champions League place if we don't get a quality replacement

Neither Gerrard, nor Allen fit that role well enough.

We don't have anyone that is naturally that role. Gerrard is barely even a CM anymore due to the age and the mobility. Allen can harrass well but still not that strong on the ball.

Shame for Lucas, but I felt he needed replacing regardless. This season he is a shadow of the player he was before his knee problems. 3 knee injuries in 3 years as well as other knocks picked up as a result of trying to get match fit again suggest he will never be back to his best.

Also a big shame as he just got back into the Brazil squad. Almost completely puts him out of the WC unless Felipao feels he can still be useful cover for Luis Gustavo and Paulinho.
