I might get excited if it was in a reputable newspaper, Mirror and Sun can be largely ignored.

But the most important thing I'd want from a new owner is to keep the emphasis on youth, that is a major part of our identity now.

@Bigadamsport has just admitted he doesn't know if a bid has come in. <laugh>

talkSPORT rubbishing it.

Saying...

- WJ is very close to Chinese Communist Party, they do not agree with buying foreign clubs.
- Chinese are all about developing the Chinese league to be the best in the world with the best players
- £175m is too much for SFC
- Katharina is looking to sell, she is obviously a seller
- She's in fact a distressed seller
- We see American buyers taking over
- £125m is a fair price for Southampton

So taking into account talkSport are a **** at info, I am guessing it's true? (Joking btw).:p

Do they agree with buying foreign businesses? Because WJ has already done that.

Talksport = talk ****....what do we think?
As someone said on an earlier thread only about 3 people truly know what's going on and talk ****e ain't one of them.

For what it's worth, anyone who knows anything about China at the moment knows that their government is actually very keen on their big businesses expanding into the western world.

So, the journo in the studio said that he thought he knew who Peter White's source was and that it was a good reliable source, but he felt it was a story being manufactured / embellished by the Liebherr camp to generate interest from elsewhere.

Taken from Saintsweb.

So the reporter thinks Peter White's source is reliable but then says the Liebherr's are making it up to increase interest?

To me it seems people have been perpetuating thus rumour because they want it to be true, rather than with any evidence.

I can't see KL starting a rumour...she wants the club to stabilise...starting such rumours linking Nicola with a buy out will hardly do that. She said no one is for sale and asked Mauricio to stay...signs of wanting things to settle down.

The strange thing is that I am sensing that quite a few fans are beginning to hope we stay with the Leihberrs...many seem to have got over the shock quicker than you'd expect.
