Not good for their next game. I think they rely on him quite a bit, though he has not been that great today.
Have to admit, I didn't think CH could get the team up and fighting, but he did so come on for the rest of the season.
Massive win! Although people may not like it, you have to give CH credit as well as the players performing under great pressure.
Snodgrass up and running again, Bassong a fair few errors, but became more composed as the game went on, this is a massive result, wish I was in Norwich in the pubs tonight
I think Becchio air-kicked when the keeper was on the floor. Real shame! Great performance, we were definitely the better side. 12th in the table and 5 points above the relegation zone. There's still some issues that need working on, but things looked better today. Hopefully today is the first step in rebuilding our shattered confidence. Hopefully Hughton doesn't see that as our side being the complete package, we definitely need another midfielder as we were lacking a touch of creativity. But once again, Hughton and the lads get the result when we really need it. Cardiff now bottom of the league, huge game in a fortnight.
Can we please make every game a 'CH will be sacked if we don't win this' game? Because every time it is one, the rabbit comes out of the hat. Snodgrass was the player of last season, as was Bassong. Everyone was concentrating. Why can't we play with that kind of focus and conviction until we get to a must-win game? It's midnight here and it will be so nice to go to bed happy for once.
I don`t think so Dave i for one am delighted to win today but 23 shots with 3 on target is pretty crazy Live to fight another day, team selection a lot better today
Of course not all is right, but the fact that we could keep possession, play a better passing game, and work together as a team is really important for the next few games-
Get in there, doesn't matter how we win, I'm just glad we did win! Also good to see Pilkington back, would have liked to have seen Tettey on but the opportunity didn't present itself. Huddlestone is a key player for Hull so maybe his suspension will cost Hull in their next game and give us some safety. Well played Ryan Bennett, well played Norwich City! COME ON YOU YELLLLOOOOWWSS!
Players seemed to play with more urgency and were rarely troubled at the back. Plenty of chances, but strikers could not finish and it was left to a CB to score. Still have concerns about our ability to score as we fed crosses from the wings which have become predictable. Shots on goal 20+, on target 3 or 4? A win is a win and with Newcastle winning away at West Ham I only hope we can at least get a draw from our home game with them on Tuesday.
