So another member of ctwd KNOWS she was speaking from the heart.I KNOW what I am starting to think.HOW DO YOU KNOW HER MOTIVES-please give a precise answer or follow Bens instruction to you if you cannot give me a precise answer.
Not at all mate. Sorry to disappoint you (perhaps you should try www.pearsonparkpuffsclub/forum for that company you pine for) Pearson Park has become a very unusual place in recent years - not the same place at all that the great Philip Larkin knew when he lived there. I respect your diversity and wish you well in your struggle for equality.
Yes your right things would be different. The message board would be full of people going mad because we were not getting behind the team. That is the impossible situation we are in. Nobody wants to stay away, we want to support the players and the manager and just get on with the season. A lot of us are saying we may still go to games but will not every buy any merchandise from the club.
My god what kind of a person are you? Are you trying to suggest she was reading from a script given to her by CTWD supporters or the Council. What a thoroughly horrible person you are. She was a genuine caller, I spend a lot of time listening to people who ring me in the job I do, I can tell when someone is genuinely upset as I suspect most people can. For you to come on this forum and suggest such a thing is extremely insulting and if I was a relative of hers I would be beyond angry. You really have lost any credibility you might have had on this board now.
Thats a bit over the top. I don't think anybody is that desperate to impersonate some old woman who lost her husband.
Perhaps someone could urge her to 'embrace the future' and 'ditch her heritage'? It's all the rage among some folk so I hear.
Unless he can be stopped by the FA strongly influenced by the excellent CTWD campaign. In which case it will have been shown Allam can't do what he wants with the club.
2 sides can have their view in any disagreement, but when A. Allam bought the club he knew that the FA control what goes on in football. What really angers me is that he has stated that if the FA reject his request to change the name, he will spit his dummy out and not accept their decision, and walk away. That is his prerogative , but to put 2 fingers up at an association that has been governing football for 150 years, is arrogant to the extreme.
Yes but a business that doesn't follow the normal theory and as such can't be treated like most other businesses
Well if that happens he can kindly leave, if it happens, but I think he knows he will get what he wants unfortunately. I remember the mess David Lloyd left us in, we will never get back to that stage, so anything we are experiencing now is a whole lot better.
