They can score goals but took some time against Blackburn, I am sure if we ever score 4 goals well will start looking pretty good. If the result of every match was known before the game we could buy the club. We cannot lose before we kick off, we have beaten them from a goal down and most of all we need these 3 points. Having no confidence is no way to approach any game, if I had any hopes of beating West Ham that went during the game not before it. We go to Man City needing a win it is that simple, how we play is up to the players. Against Arsenal and Southampton we went 3 goals down inside half an hour, we cannot win games like that so somehow we must find a way to win no matter who we play. jck

Suarez is the only other player in the PL I get genuinely excited about turning on the TV for (hard to enjoy it live when you're on the receiving end). Many great players in the PL but Suarez and Kun are next level.

Man City are a lazy side at times playing around the back four and midfield for periods, what they do then after boring the other side to death is inject a rapid burst forward to score the goals. The idea is to sit and wait for the initial injection of pace and cut it out early. We need to develop a stronger counter attack as they tend to move a lot of players up when they start to attack. I am sure Ole will agree with me and make plans to deal with the situation. I can`t wait for tomorrow to see if his plan works. jck

They are not boring attacking but they do not attack non stop and like to spend time playing the ball around as said. They have also shown a willingness to close down when they don`t have the ball they never always had. So the plan is to try and win the ball at the times they are just passing it around midfield and to win the ball when they attack and run with it rather than boot it upfield. You got to have a plan, if you don`t have a plan how you going to make a plan come true. jck

Well we may as well enjoy the game before the game in case we cannot enjoy the game during the game and after the game. I was looking forward to the next two games and everyone is depressing me lol! jck
Jack says he's been watching city since pretty much the dawn of time but not one post he's written can convince me that he's anything other than a well meaning but naive sixteen year old (at best). I like an optimistic attitude,but there's no sense of reality at all. Yes, anything can happen, that's the beauty of the game, but to go there with a sense of expectation is to live in a land called 'Cuckoo'.
Well let me give you a better sense or reality ok. From two games with Man City and Man Utd we took 4 points...now if we had taken 4 points off every other two of the "easier" games we would be in the top four. We have not lost to either of the Manchester clubs having played both. Now if you consider if that was say Arsenal`s record you would not exactly be expecting them to lose would you? If the reality is we lost to them both so far then I am wrong and you are right...but I wouldn`t have thought so. jck
