TEARS FROM HEAVEN 12-1 Bet365 Musselburgh 1:15 is simply begging to backed tomorrow. Half the price elsewhere! Trotted up in this race off 9lb lower two years ago. Lightly raced since but has had a warm up. 8lb claimer adds to the appeal. If back to his form of 24 months ago he will trot up here!

2.00 is the free bet and Fonterutoli is the selection at 8/1

Watch his last two runs, and tell me he isn't very well handicapped tomorrow with the job jockey back on.

Watched the last 3 Nass; all at Lingfield. Seems to love the course and needs further than 8f. 9/1 looks very generous and the horse looks a solid ew bet to me.

The more I look into this the better your horse looks Nass. In his last run he was ridden by an "amateur" and would have probably won with his winning jockey and a bit further. Times are favourable too. Don't know how you spot these. I reckon he must have gone in your notebook on his last run.

My only worry is that you've had 3 on the trot; can you make it 4?

    I doubt it!!

To be honest, I wouldn't have even looked at the race had the horse tonight not obliged, but when I looked at his win (started with that one because of the Attwater horse being in behind) and then the run last time I thought he was a very interesting runner. The effort last time must have been close to being a stewards situation, he stopped riding him inside the distance and never asked him with any vigour. That is one thing we can expect Winstone to do, who for me is one of the strongest jockeys on recalcitrant sorts.

Also, really annoyed with myself for not taking the 9/1 that Skybet offered for Meadowcroft Boy for Saturdays Supreme Novice trial. He is now 4/1 with the sponsors, with the field cutting up by the look of it. I wonder what quote we can get for the big race in spring?

Meadowcroft Boy, sounds like a plumton horse, beat nothing, should be 14s on Saturday and if they run it in the Supreme it would be bordering on animal cruelty.

well 14s is a bit much, I thought the Mullins horse was still in, thats a shocking grade 2, Sgt Reckless shouldnt be 11/1 in that field, if Pipes doesnt turn up then you could win that 5 lengths and still be a 100/1 shot for Cheltenham.

I backed it last time out Ron and also felt it was not ridden to win that day. It was dropped out the back with little attempt to improve and when improvement was unavoidable the jockey seemed to be very happy where he was and very relieved the post came in time as was gaining hand over fist without urging. If they want the horse to win tomorrow I feel he is definitely handicapped to but the same is very applicable to the favourite Tiger Reigns who has recently dropped to a very low mark. Fonterutoli is a class 6 horse but Tiger reigns has run in class 2s 3s 4s and 5s throughout his career and whilst he is not able to cut it in these anymore on a mark that lets him run in grade 6 all weather races he can mop up. His last win before last week was in a Grade 2 off of a mark of 97 in September 10, his win last week was off of 65 in a grade 6. He also did it the hard way from the front which is not easy at Wolverhampton but is proving a little easier of late at Lingfield, drawn 1 I see him doing the same again tomorrow. I can see Fonterutoli running very well and think that price is tempting when watching that last run but my feeling is Tiger reigns is too well handicapped if the race does not come to soon after his victory last week.

Nassau - no offence intended just a bit of banter <ok> The horse doesnt know the price and the best backed horse doesnt always win!

many horses drift and win--many get backed and lose--the horse and its price are not related --only in an abstract way--i dont mind a drift -or a short move just before the off--the wild gambles are often smokescreen for other shenanigans--have seen and been party to both..

Sentiment 'forces' me to go for Rudemeister at Leith--although i reckon he is better on softer ground and a longer trip--but he's had a wind op-so have to see how he goes....

Honest Strike in the last at Ling --looks ready to do just that--also my mate in ireland alerts me to the butterly horse--but its also entered at wolves on monday at its previous CD win--six days after running over 2mile at kempton.....

as ever you takes your chances....hoping for better luck today...
