Almost pulled it off, still better value in my 12/1 ew than 6/4 winner so it'll do

 

How do you work that out smokey?

 

Would return the same i think. £1 E.w on a 12/1 would return 5 if it placed. £2 win on a 6/4 would return 5 if it won. However, i think he means the value is that if it had won he would of collected a lot more.

 

I wouldn't back a horse at 6/4 therefore its a no bet for me, but backing a 12/1 shot ew returns me a profit. Sorry i didn't word it very well, i meant value personal to me not value in comparing the two if i'd backed both
