They seem high and they are probably off. Bruce thinks these are the moves that will not only help us finish were we are this season but put us on the path to staying up next season. If we are in the PL in the 2015-2016 season none of us will give a **** if we over paid for these 2 guys.

Listen, here's the bottom line. We have signed two relatively well known PL players with a good past reputation. They are slightly off form right now (wouldn't be able to buy them otherwise) Therefore it is a gamble. But so were Altidore, Ghilas, Bullard, King(s), Prozzy, Mclean and so on.. all for various reasons (age, injuries, foreign, lower league and so on) But as far as gambles go these two are far better ones, that is undeniable. You can bet your house that most (honest) sunderland, palace, west ham, norwich, Cardiff fans will be envious.
Would rather see shane long than jozy altidore, and as for nikica jelavic he is absolute class 10times better than any striker web ever had IMO
