How do you feel about Cortese leaving?

I'm not gutted about losing him, as long as we keep our direction, ambition and vision.
For me he was the symbol of our new-found intent to achieve things instead of just accepting mediocrity. If the Liebherr's are still committed financially, and willing to make new signings and keep players then I'm completely fine with it. At the moment though, it feels like this resignation means the end of all of our upward movement.

Disappointed....but as one door closes another one opens, don't know what's around the corner but looking forward to it 
I'm not sure yet CBK. I am just thinking how life as a Saints fan is never simple. I am disappointed but I need to hear more before I make any conclusions.
I too would have gone with apprehensive, but as the poll lacked the option, I went with aroused.
Disappointed but there's always change. It was going to happen one day.
He's done a good job, sometimes in the face of a fair bit of stick. I also think, sadly for us, it'll be easier for him to fall into a bigger job than it will be for us to find a better chairman.
I guess to be fair we do still have to thank the Leibherr family for their support of the club too - so long as they don't now go and sell the club to a dodgy consortium of questionable integrity.

When Adkins was sacked I said it would have been worse if we lost Nicola...one year on, here we are. Losing Nicola doesn't mean we are doomed, but we are no longer on our unique path. Presumably Katherina is on a different path to NC or he wouldn't have left. In an ideal world we will be bought by someone who likes what is happening and carries it on....especially if Mauricio can be talked into staying. However, I don't believe in the tooth fairy either 
A little bit of all of these (and in small amounts, I'm not too worked up over this. It's made my day more interesting for sure, but I'll sleep well tonight):
1) Disappointed that things didn't work out
2) Thankful that things did work out so incredibly well for as long as they did, thanks to both Cortese *and* the Liebherrs in my mind.
3) Annoyed that (if the reports are true) it sounds like that Cortese threw a hissy fit and left the team in the lurch by quitting mid-season (and taking MP with him) and at the start of a transfer window, when he was already leaving at the end of the season.
4) Worried that the club might be sold.
5) Optimistic that if the club isn't sold, we should come out alright.
6) Excited to see who we get next and what direction that might take us.
