So as I understand it, miserable sinner that I am,Les Ferdinand is more use than anything but a bus load of Lesbian prostitutes with whips, chains, and other sex toys. An interesting argument, and surely worthy of debate!
Right, let's summarise this, because I think the debate has pitched itself into something quite detailed, and with serious depth. Dildos and nuns don't usually go together, but when they did we'd expect the nuns to share. Lesbian prostitutes should take the bus to work. Whips, chains, and other sex toys are what Ferdinand needs to help him get his act together. Have I missed anything?
I'm surprised at the claimed level of expertise on here about the use of sex toys by nuns. Where do I look to see the research? I'm a bit frightened to type it into google...
Yeah, doing that cost me my last two jobs. So my expertise is hard-won. I wonder if a cock(erel) vibrator would be a big seller in the Spurs shop...
Indeed. Whatever coaching our strikers (and those who are supposed to be supporting them) are getting, it isn't working.
Send him back to rangers guys, we'll have him & Harry will probaby give him a game too.... Bring your boots 'Sir Les"..,
Do other clubs have "striking coaches"? Ferdinand is the first i've ever heard of this position at Spurs. If i'm mistaken, who were his predecessors? Clive Allen was a striker, maybe he can have a go?
I thought football was supposed to learn things from rugby? They have forwards coaches in that. So expect to see football union starting soon, and pathetic squabbling between fans of the two codes. England will still be turgid to watch, though, so there won't be too much upheaval.
Whatever Ferdinand is doing (or supposed to be doing), I wish he would stop and just go away, because our strikers are now far worse than they used to be - and they were complete pants before!
Are there more Cauliflower ears in rugby today,I wonder? Some of them look pretty awful..... What would be the equivilant in football today?Hamstrings?
I think it's time for a bit of clarification. It is perfectly reasonable to assume Les Ferdinand is our striker coach, but the reality is he has rarely worked with the first team. When he accepted Harry's invitation to join the coaching staff, he did so on a part time basis and worked with the youths with only the occasional work on the training ground with the first teamers. At that time, striker coaching was done pretty much 100% by Clive Allen and Joe Jordan. Ferdinand was always available to give the strikers advice, and I am sure some went to him for that, but his work on the training ground was only with he kids. When AVB arrived, Ferdinand never worked with the first team. Believe me, this is not a joke, but the work with the strikers was given to Steffen Freund. Now Les is part of the first team coaching staff, he obviously has got more involved yet It is Freund who has continued to oversee shooting skills etc in training. .
