Billy- I would like to thank you for probably the best break down of yesterdays atrocity. I agree with everything you have said. Normally I have a strong opinion on any game Leeds play in but yesterday has left me speechless and actually unable to compute what I saw. This post has started bringing me round though. As it says on the key ring my nephew got me for xmas- keep calm and support leeds united.

This all over, just haven't had the words/will.

Was there any abuse,like rochdale?
Pity about yer burger, can we blame the lack of cheese? <laugh>

There was a splattering of boos at half time & full time, but no abuse thankfully, that doesnt help. the vast majority of the 3000 Leeds fans applauded the team off.
Maybe the players all wanted cheese on their burgers too & SWFC were playing mind games with them, which ultimately cost us the game!!

Cheers bite yer legs, allways good to hear an opnion of someone who was there.
Cheese all round before kick off then? <laugh>

Doesn't mean your opinion is constructive, of any use, or even welcome.

The right to an opinion does not equal the right to have that opinion respected, especially if it's not helping anybody or just moaning for the sake of it. Hitler believed the Jews were at fault for all the world's problems. He had a right to his opinion, would you respect that?

The vast majority of my opinions / comments are welcome & to those that they arent, well you cant please everyone all the time. Thats life.
I wasnt moaning for the sake of it, we had just been drummed 6-0 by the Wendies, anyone who paid to watch that was more than entitled to a moan.
Comparing my opinion to that of Hitlers toward the Jews is absolutely laughable, maybe if I said the team needed to be exterminated for playing crap & then shot them all with a firing squad then you would have something resembling a point.

To be honest, i dont really care if you think my opinion is unconstructive, useless or unwelcome, it will always be shared. WTF does Hitler have to do with the game against Wednesday?

I never have & never will boo or abuse the team, some people do, thats their choice & their opinion. (Cue reference to Hitler now I guess).
If you pay money to be entertained you are entitled to express your dissatisfaction if you watch a load of old dross.
I watched them lose therefore I will have my say.
Its called democracy & freedom of speech.

Noboby said anyone HAD to agree with me.

I will continue to vocally SUPPORT the team AND manager because its what I have done all my life.

Marching on TOGETHER.

Well put <applause>

You mean like Wootton, Zaliukas, Ariyibi, Kebe, Murphy, Stewart, Hunt & Smith ?

How many of those are guaranteed a start next week?

5 of those players are young players who have developement potential. Will they be world beaters or will they flop? Only time will tell but they deserve a chance from where I type.

CALM DOWN and hope Holloway can save you.

What is going on? Why are people making comments that don't add up? For one, it's not Kebe who decided he'll only sign on if we get promoted, Leeds decided he should earn a full time contract through helping us to get promoted, and he agreed ... Kebe is here to try and become a Leeds player in the long term, and that's to be applauded ... all this destabilising talk, just spouting off in all directions, no fcuking wonder this club struggles to come right with "supporters" who don't support their club in the tough times ... Bates is gone, he's left us in deep sh1t and now Haigh and McD are trying to fix it ... the only instant fix is for an oil baron to come in and pour £200m into the club, but that's not going to happen ... so, now is the time to stick together and help McD to do his job ... he will squeeze the puss out of the ugly sore and get us to where we want to be

How many seasons did it take mega-wealthy Man City to contend for the league title?

People here need to get realistic.

Yeah, it sucks to endure these horrible performances but give it time.

Please stop blaming Bates, he left over a year ago, he wanted Warnock out months before he was sacked but part of the T/O deal was GFH insisting that Warnock was kept in charge.

I can see us being in this same position in 2,3,4 years time and still a few referring to the mess Bate has left us in.

Yes he was probably the worst chairman in history but GFH brought us, GFH satated we were debt free and they allowed Warnock to make several signings, we all thought Warnock was right for the job at the time of his appointment, yesterdays result has nothing to do with Bates, let's please move on...

What about publicity Pete? The other chairman would happily tell you it is his fault.

Jonny, talking to yourself:emoticon-0100-smile

At least I did not get any WUM responses! <ok>

Somebody on this thread most definitely said that McDermott should be replaced. In my fury and laziness I've forgotten who it was. That is not a constructive opinion nor one that is welcome since it means going back to square one. Completely pointless.

Morning all. I think the idea of BMD being replaced eminated from another site known to be full of WUMs & the brainless. Saturday was bad, but sacking BMD wouldn't help. This weekend we'll see whether or not BMD is worth his weight. If we lose but at least show some commitment and play some decent stuff, I could cope with that. But if we lose and show no passion or do little more than hoof the ball up the pitch to Ross on his own, we'll have learned nothing from this past weekend.

Me, I tend to think it was bad. But from the moment the first goal went in & was a deflection off one of our players following Pugh being too slow to get out of the penalty area, I just knew it wasn't going to be our day. The third goal came about as a result of an obstruction which meant our player couldn't get to the guy who scored. The sending off of Smith was a joke. And the only thing that BMD actually got wrong was the 343 set up of the team. Clearly he won't make that mistake again. But it does beg the question as to how we should set the team up given that we now have two genuine wngers with a third on the bench waiting to make his mark.

It wasn't BAD, it was a disgrace and a total shambles and no, defeat this weekend or any other weekend should not be acceptable

We need to sign players who can play for Leeds, who can cope with the pressure and expectation ... Rochdale played with the freedom of a team with nothing to lose, Wednesday were expected to at best get a point and they certainly weren't under any pressure ... our problem is that we have too many players incapable of coping with the pressure of not losing every time they pull on a White shirt, the pressure of getting this club to the Prem ... players may have skill and ability, but when their heads go they are totally useless, in any sport, just look at the recent Ashes debacle, those five Tests were like five Wendy games in a row ... big names have signed for big clubs in the past and failed, because they showcased their talents at a club where there was no pressure, but the moment they were EXPECTED to perform each week they wilted ... Varney was immense at Blackpool, but at Leeds he really looks stressed ... I can't wait for the dross to leave and hopefully McD gets his signings right

Luck our latest two so have arrived from top clubs, Hull and Palace is it? They should be well used to high expectations. You're right though but unfortunately the calibre of player we need will never be signed
