There are some on here who have said they are willing to be patient, and will wait 5-years as long as we get promoted under the new owners. Come on folks, in 5-years time the championship will be a different kettle of fish because of wealthy investors who spent money on their squads, and teams with huge parachute payments. We cannot compete and will fall further and further behind until it becomes impossible to get promoted.

We deserve owners who have a few quid and are willing to invest in growth. This latest consortium is all about steadying the ship for selling on yet again!!!!!

The new owners of Charlton will have that club miles ahead of us by then.

Wolves today have spent over £1m on 2 players and they're in League 1 ffs, and all because they get £12m per year in parachute payments. We cannot compete with them

Who is satisfied with a 5 year timeline?

3 years seems reasonable.

I'll settle for end of next season, and if McD hasn't improved the club then so be it, a change will be needed, but give him until June 2015 to cure us
