Hobbs: Being recalled on Monday, we've received a bid from Reading for him. Up to Forest to match it.
McLean: Received a bid from Bradford.

If we sign both Long and Jelavic I imagine McLean, Prozzy and Fryatt are all on the way out. A strike force of Long, Jelavic, Aluko, Sagbo and Graham is more than enough. Unlikely but I'd also get rid of Koren brings nothing to the team and we can still get £300k from a championship club

Hobbs should be recalled to put pressure on Davies. Davies is a pratt of the first order and anything which cranks his chain is great news. Bids from Forest, Wigan, Reading and any other Championship club should put his price up to nearer the million pound mark which is what he's worth. Maybe Hollowhead may make a bid!!

Why wouldn't it be a true free? The OP said "bid" which means a fee is involved.

Because he is still under contract until the summer. We arnt going to let anyone go without some sort of fee.

With McLean I think we will. And if it's Bradford I wouldn't be surprised if we had to cover some of the wages too. I'm told Bruce is very keen to get him out of the place.

Should have recalled Hobbs on Friday before he damaged a hamstring,I hope it doesn't stop a sale.

Well I stand corrected if we announced that. I had not seen anything that we were willing to let him go for no compensation.

it was announced in the Summer, but there were no takers :)

I suspect that the HDM use the term "offer" to mean that Bradford will sign him now but will require us to pay a portion of his wages until the summer, when his deal with us is due to expire. This is fairly common.
For example, Man City are still paying a portion of Adebayor's wages, as he wouldn't agree to a drop in wages when he transferred to Spurs.

Would be a mistake to get rid of Fryatt. The lad has something to offer if given a chance, and for the last 2 years we haven't seen much at all of Aluko due to injuries.
