How is he helping them send us down? He's already helped them take 2 points from cardiff's grasp so his being there has already helped us. He can't play against us so if he's that important to them, that should be an easy 3 points for us then shouldn't it?
Its not hard to be "best player2 at sunderland though Dai !!.... Ive seen Ki about 5 times this season and he is the same player there as he was here, neat and tidy keeps things ticking over but not in the same class as JDG when it comes to his assists and creative final 3rd play . We are blessed with depth that sunderland dont have so its easy to see why he would stand out for them, truth is that he doesnt stand out for any Jack watching him closely,he doesnt do anything different to what we have here ,he is reportedly one of our highest earning players and when you consider his end product for us and sunderland its hardly earth shattering . Decent player non the less
Well be a better person and your mates will eventully invite you out for a beer instead of making the excuses you talk about !..
I see both viewpoints. We won't get relegated this season. We'll finish comfortable mid-table. If we don't strengthen midfield, then it's time to start rotating properly in midfield then. I don't want De Guzman playing 6 games in 3 weeks like he did at the start of December (or any midfielder for that matter). If it means moving Shelvey into DM and bringing Pozuelo into CAM to give him a rest, I'm up for it. A well-managed De Guzman is a brilliant player. An overused De Guzman is not. So far, this season has proved that. Keep De Guzman at optimum condition and use the squad to do that. Play for today but plan for tomorrow. You want all the squad fully focussed on the present game. But the manager's job should be to plan for the future on top of that. Contingency. If Britton and Canas play hard tomorrow (as you'd want them to) and both get injured, how would our squad look? I know the counter-argument. I'm stating Ifs and Buts. But I feel like our midfield resources are currently paper thin. A couple of injuries to midfielders in the next 2 weeks, added to Michu and 3 wingers currently out of action (that's right, 75% of our wingers are in the treatment room), and our strength-in-depth is suddenly more shallow than a kid's paddling pool in a Californian summer. Currently fit midfielders DM - Britton, Canas AM - Shelvey, De Guzman Wing - Pozuelo, Routledge
Ki scores yet again and had an assist to boot and was voted their best player...I rest my case.. just 3 points now from relegation.....laudrup is really excelling himself dont you think..
Don't feed the troll. Before I powered up my laptop I knew he'd be the first on here gloating. The guy's a waste of fresh air.
