I'll be surprised if they've not made a profit. They only paid £5.5M for him, he's 28, and if you take a sub appearance as averaging 30 minutes (usually subs start about 60 minutes in, with some at half time and some after 70 minutes) he's got 16 league goals in 48 games for them. A 1/3 PL striker in his prime whould cost more than £5.5M even if he has had a dry spell.
@Macca: Again. Why are you always faster? Anyway. 4.5m sounds way more realistic than 8m (or 14m for both).
Looks like we're being shafted since everyone knows we're desperate for a striker. Neither should be anywhere near 8mil Edit - I trust Mike White on all things transfer related
In the future I should go to the doorway instead of typing Earthquake and then going to the door way. A few books fell of my shelf. Wasnt a bad one.
My mate reckons they're only after £2m for him and they'd snap our hands off for that. "Dog ****" was the word used to describe him. If it ends up a goer, hopefully he sorts it out and becomes dogs bollocks...
Unless the HDM have got it wrong (surely not!!) and they mean £14m for the two plus Livermore - now that would makes sense!
Just looked at an Everton forum. Thread was "Jelavic replacement." One poster stated he thought it was going to be Shane Long. I hope us signing Jelavic, doesn't stop us signing Long.
