12.20 GMT Reports from France say that Lyon have rejected a 10 million euro proposal from Arsenal for pacey French attacker Alexandre Lacazette. Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his attack in the wake of Theo Walcott's long-term knee injury but he has been snubbed in his pursuit by former Arsenal player Remi Gaarde. The Lyon coach is not prepared to sell his key players in the January transfer window as the Kids look to make up lost ground on the Champions League places.

A tricky winger and at about 7 mil pounds- 8 mil, not bad business.

12.10 GMT According to the Metro, Liverpool are preparing a bid for Rubin Kazan midfielder Yann M'Vila after the player's agent admitted that his client was keen to move to the Premier League. "I think many players dream of playing in the Premier League – Yann is no different," said Werner Baader. "I will not deny there is interest from many European clubs, including English teams."

Finally, the Daily Mail are reporting that Liverpool have reignited their interest in Dinamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko. The Reds are rumoured to be in pursuit of Basel’s Mohamed Salah, but as the Swiss club continue to drive up the price, Liverpool have begun to look at different options. And Yarmolenko, who has scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Kiev this season, is building as a viable option.

M'vila would be great. <ok>

Shame the last story is reported by the fail though, even though I don't know too much about Yarmolenko. Has a great name though <ok>

Liverpool transfer speculation today sees Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been given the green light to sign Yann M’Vila.

Rodgers is known to rate M’Vila highly, and he has been receiving glowing scouting reports on his performances for Rubin Kazan this season.

Liverpool have also been linked with £10m Genoa right back Sime Vrsaljko.

Reports in Italy suggesting Rodgers is impressed with his versatility, with the 21-year-old comfortable in playing all the way across the back line.

Serie A outfit Udinese want to sign out-of-favour Liverpool front man Fabio Borini to replace veteran striker Antonio Di Natale at the Stadio Friuli next season.

The Italian, 22, joined the Black Cats in the summer, but has failed to find the back of the net on a regular basis with only three goals to his name.

Valencia are poised to make a short-term loan move for Liverpool striker Iago Aspas, according to BeIN Sports Italia.

The 26-year-old has struggled to settle on Merseyside since his big-money move from Celta Vigo last summer and the Spanish giants have contacted the Reds over his availability.

In other Liverpool transfer news, Daniel Agger has distanced himself with a move to Napoli, though Barcelona continue to monitor the Reds defender.

Finally, Liverpool have once again been linked with £8million-rated Burnley striker Danny Ings.

Ings has already netted 20 times for the Championship promotion chasers this season and is also attracting interest from Newcastle, Stoke and Aston Villa.

Reports of £18m for Kevin De Bruyne, that's crazy tbh. He hasn't done anything to justify a price tag that high <doh>

Not sure about Ings, especially for £8m.

Good news about M'vila if true, and Aspas to Valencia on loan would do him the world of good.

ings is having a good year for a young un where he is... 8mil... meh... I don't know so i can't comment til i see him play.

M'vila... yeah decent but so many looked and passed him by before. why now? why not? I don't know either.

Aspas to valencia? they are in trouble financially. No loss.

Only reason to loan Aspas to Valencia is if we're planning on selling him. He's not going to adjust to England any quicker by sending him out to Spain. Maybe we could include him in some kind of package for Banega. £5m and Aspas? I'd take that...

Ings - Burnly have just signed Ashley Barnes from Brighton so could possibly be a replacement (although they're saying it's as back up to Ings & Vokes).

M'Villa - Not really seen him but he's obviously the type of player, a powerful DM who can pass and play a bit. Only problem is his attitude but maybe he's matured a bit since his problems a few years ago. Heard he's now had a kid which has settled him down a bit?

I agree, valencia is an out for both us and him. it's like this... i know he aint up to it for sure in my mind.... however... if i park that and then think, hey if you are ever going to make it you'd want to not run like a coward ala konbloddycheskey just cos its "hard"

package for banega sounds good to me!

Shako can sell us on m'vila, but equally the two together could go mad. who knows.

all i know is both players are pretty good... are they prem good or prem very good is the question to my mind.

Would be happy with a DM and an AM in this transfer window if the tricky winger (Salah?) doesn't materialize. Otherwise a winger and a DM, would be great. M'vila would be good, although I'm not happy about reports of being temperamental and a dressing room liability. Hopefully these are untrue or exaggerated. <ok>

Where has £18m come from? they brought him for £8m, can't see Chelsea making £10m profit from not playing him all year?

Still hasn't done anything significant in the PL. Bet you'd be happy of you got that much for him though.

That's because he plays in our strongest area of our team and can;t get the chances due to that. Doesn't make him a bad player, if I remember rightly he scored 10 goals when he was on loan with Bremen, which is awesome for a young midfielder and he had plenty of assists as well!! I would be happy to sell as he is wasted at Chelsea.

Didn't say he was a bad player, just not sure if he's worth the £18m that's been quoted. Certainly wouldn't mind him here (for the right price though!) but I'm not sure you'll want to do business with us any time soon.

Aspas should only go on loan if Borini is recalled, other wise our squad will be to small.

Suppose it depends how much we strengthen in this window, or even in the summer. But I agree, get Borini and Assaidi back. Strengthen the starting 11 and then maybe Aspas could go on loan, or even be sold.
