Spot on mate.. And its not as if he won't be making £50K+ a week if he wants to come over and play for us.. No more mercenaries please!
1.) Yes yes and yes, top player. 2.) His name was hot for a while but he is at Palermo, who are doing well, but in the Italian second division. Would be a gamble.
p&m, a player I would like to get would be eduardo vargas who was on loan from Napoli and is out of favor with Benitez. really tricky player that can play anywhere along the front the three.
probably yes. It "seemed" we'd no issue with price on mkhitaryan or willian but it was plates wanting the easy rapid way to "glory" ie playing CL and picking up sub medals. I don't think the policy of price setting affected buying aspas either.. but i think having the right target is still the question. For me aspas was a head shaker day one. toure, minoglet, shako... no issue. the addition of alberto and Llori there makes it a 50/50 success rate. we can still do better. buy a squad player for 7mil while having to loan two others (who let us down) then adding two more kids for 7 mil each suggests perhaps buying two real players would have been better. Policy one way no issue, policy another way, i think we are being a little bargain bucket about it... perhaps without CL you have to be but...
Just spoken to my reporter mate (utd supporter). He's quite pragmatic. He said the support last night was fantastic and very loud. I said they'd probably turn them over at OT and he said they probably would, and if not, it'd save them getting thrashed 6 - 0 by City at Wembley He said it's like being a real supporter all over again.
did he not notice that the ground was half f'n empty and any away fans would have been heard easily... fantastic support is another way of saying we are complete tosh on the pitch so we need something to boast about... guess what you fans are it... queue years of best fans in the world stories. LFc fans should recognise this tosh we got fed it for too long. I think he is right sunderland are muck and i was thinking before the game last night that as the away leg was first that sunderland would always go to old trafford and defend = playing utd's game... all utd need is rooney back then they'll be in the final worst luck! LFC should hope so cos I think if city meet utd there is at least a chance that the europa cup spot goes back to the league... the very worst thing for us is is city f up v west ham and we see a west ham sunderland final... more championship sides in europa... or has that rule changed too? If city win this they will also prob win the league so 6th will get a europa spot. If utd finish say 5th above us (go one say its unlikely but we must say it) the place would still be sixth. I'm backing citeh for this cup cos it helps lfc. 4th is a hope, at this point 8th is still a nightmare possibility.
Do we really care what United supporters think? I care even less how they feel. We told them that they were heading into problems. We even told them where their problems lay. We then pointed to our own experience and were belittled for even thinking that United were even in danger of repeating the experience. So let them get on with it. It took us the best part of 20 seasons to overcome our problems and I have no reason to believe that United may also face the same fate.
15.28 GMT: Reports in state that Milan have already made contact with Porto midfielder Fernando. Adriano Galliani was reportedly in Brazil over Christmas to talk to the Brazilian midfielder during the winter break, and the 26-year-old could form part of the Rossoneri rebuilding process.
I'm meeting him and another old mate (also manc) next Friday. I can't ****ing wait I'll have a chat with him about it then
all they'll talk about is fantasy about buying messi and neymar... you know what deluded mancs are like.. especially when desperate
16.15 GMT: Roma boss Rudi Garcia believes the club will be a stronger team with new signing Radja Nainggolan -- and insists the new signing does not mean Miralem Pjanic is on his way out of the club. “What does Nainggolan offer us? We can talk about him because he's a Roma player now and I can say that we'll be a stronger team with Radja,” Football Italia reports. "Pjanic? Nothing changes for Miralem. Where could Nainggolan play? He can play in all three midfield slots. He's an all-round player." Nainggolan is another one of the golden crop of Belgians coming through and should be more of a house hold name after this move.
