Poor sod. He played very well against West Ham - like Huddlestone, looks supremely confident with the ball and his passing is top notch. He also looked very fit (no, not in that way )
It's one of those mother-in-law drives off a cliff in your brand new Ferrari situations. Lennon to get a surprise call up to the England squad or will Townsend step up and take his international chance?
If Lennon and Townsend hit a run of form for the rest of the season, Tom Cleverley will be heading to Brazil.
But is Cleverley of the standard necessary to be be solely blamed for Englands' ignominious exit from the WC ??
Shame for walnut, wouldn't wish that on anyone. Having said that at least he will get paid for six months, when I broke my leg a screwed all the ligaments in my foot I didn't get paid for 6 months. Interesting for the goons though, will Wenger or won't he? Their squad looks a little thinner all of a sudden.
Will this be the thing that triggers Arsenal's annual collapse? The Ramsay injury a few seasons back had that effect and he was only a fringe player.
That was more the injury itself rather than the loss of Ramsay. With Walcott, it's the player who'll be missed. Our main goal threat I feel.
Was just getting some clarification from you before I prematurely (but it seems correctly) snapped to the judgement that you are a complete tool.
I would think Townsend is on the plane already. Walcott's injury could open the door for Lennon - although the way England normally play doesn't suit him which is why he's been out of the team for so long.
Lennon's has got no chance. Never been in favour with the current England set-up, even when he was playing well. The Walcott injury basically opens the door for Chamberlain because not only does it mean he gets a chance to get more games for Arsenal, but also the chance to impress England and he is rated highly by the guys at England as they picked him in most of their squads before he got injured, Gary Neville in particular is a massive fan of Chamberlain's talent.
Is Chamberlain injured at the mo or does Wenger just not play him? Seems like he went from being an awesome player to bring on to nowhere.
Back in full training, and should be fit for the cup game against Coventry. Alongside Ramsey, was our most impressive player in pre-season, but got injured in the first game of the season.
Lennon was superb for England when he first start getting picked and is just a player that never gets fully appreciated by these idiotic managers who favour players for other reasons and then why wonder England struggle. No I 'm not saying Lennon is the answer to all problems but if he is overlooked once he proves his own fitness and form then its just another example of managers overlooking players, we see it happen all the time, meanwhile players like Smalling will be deemed as the future of England and Hodgson will be waiting for Andy Carroll to regain fitness.
