He can be a very good player, lightning quick and skilful, a bit indecisive in te final third but that will probably come with experience. He slipped and did his knee in for us and ever since he always looked frightened of injuring himself again, he's already very lightweight but he got even easier to bully out of games after returning. Once a defender roughed him up a little he got ball shy, and just wouldn't try to take a man on.

Very good on his day though, could possibly still make a PL player one day yet, but he needs to toughen up and stop being a pansy when the going gets a little rough.

That's a pretty good summary of Cam. He's well worth a punt for you, if he can get over the injury, he's a great player, and could well end up your favorite player, if not, you'll wonder why you bothered.

I hope it turns out ok for you tbh, he's a nice lad.

Look .. we had some genuine talent here on loan before, just had cnut managers who were genuinely thick and had no idea how to use their players properly ... don't believe McD will be as stupid ... reason we made sure he's not cup tied is so once we've signed him we can loan him out more easily to clubs still in't Cup :)

Not sure I like the idea of signing someone struggling to recover from an injury. We don't have the resources to be taking punts on lads, we already have a stable full of them. We need proven established players at this point

Mate, who's a season ticket holder at charlton, described him as a lightweight - but with some talent. Seems a consistent message. Worth a punt at low cost maybe, but i'd hope there were better options available. I won't be hanging my hopes for the season on him.

I've heard enough to say he is definately worth a punt, especially when considering who we have signed over the last 5 years

Typical Leeds signing though, "worth a punt" "gamble" and "will be cheap" are the descriptions I have seen branded about.

I don't mind us signing him, I just hope that he isn't our entire January transfer activity.

Stewart has returned to parent club Hull City following a successful loan stint at The Valley and the Addicks want the 22-year-old back permanently, and they have the finance to do the deal after Belgian millionaire Roland Duchatelet completed his takeover of the club.
However, Sky Sports understands that a number of Championship clubs have now made contact with Hull about a deal for Stewart.
Understood to be among those clubs are promotion candidates Leicester City, Ipswich and Leeds United, who are all keen to add Stewart to their ranks.
Hull boss Steve Bruce has confirmed interest in Stewart, and is set to let him leave, although he could be involved in Saturday's FA Cup tie at Middlesbrough before his departure.
Talking to Sky Sports, Stewart said that he was waiting to see what happens over the coming days.

I was under the impression that Charlton didn't wish to extend his loan or keep him as his performances were not that great? Guess we might see soon as everywhere you look it seems like it is a done deal.

Stick him on the training pitch with Brown and Austin opposite him, that will toughen him up.

I'm not so sure, his usual reaction to being ruffed up, or even just tackled, is to sulk like a five year old. Honestly, you could land a helicopter on his bottom lip at times.

Hull City fans comments :

lightweight
pussy
pansy
sulker

Perfect for this lot <ok>

or us <doh>

The boy clearly has potential working on the left wing fast pacey but seems to have lost his way Pearson who knows a good left winger when he sees it having given us Max Gradel for 100k offered 1.5m for him last year but the bid was rejected I think he will be coming to us on a free surprise surprise lets hope hes not to intimidated by the fans but I do fear the worst he clearly is a very timid person so not much hope there unless BM can work a miracle. If he can we may have a real handful lets hope so...

He won't be leaving on a free if there are several clubs after him, we only recalled him from Charlton to get a fee for him.
