Eikrem has been a solid midfielder for Heerenveen in the past 3/4 months who has good technique and a good long distance shot on him. However he has been a bit inconsistent as of late. I can remember entire games not having seen him make a single contribution. Mind you that he has only been at Heerenveen for 4 months which is a bit short to give a full report on the player. But from what I've seen he is a decent player for the Eredivisie but nothing really stands out to be honest. He's not extremely fast, he is strong and can win battles on midfield, decent passing and can score a goal from distance.
And a good first touch, just remembered that when I saw his goal against Ajax in August.
Cant believe you managed to win: Winner of 'Most knowledgeable poster award' on the Swans board, season 2012-2013, shared with Scott. That must have been a fix !!!! Everybody and i mean everybody knows Dai is the most knowledgeable poster on every board he visits
with two wide men, whitts in the middle with Mutch and Medel would be fine. If we can sign someone better I wouldn't complain though. Also, as we've seen, it's a squad game. We need to bring quality from the bench to maintain performance.
I'm a little worrried that Ole's main 2 targets are both players he's had before. I'm not saying they aren't up to standard, just that I think it's unlikely they'd be our top 2 targets if they hadn't both played for him previously. Both ex Man u reserves so obviously were talented youngsters but still we need players to make a difference now at PL level.
Virtually all managers bring in their trusted generals. Jonesy did it, Malky did it and Ole is doing it.They are just like football club owners. Safety in numbers I suppose. Ole will soon bring in his own backroom staff.
