I'm well aware it isn't a new thing but MM brought players from the championship to play at that level.

It makes sense as a transfer strategy too, as no amount of scouting is equal to spending a season or more actually working with a player.

Norweigen league to PL is a step up though and thats why im concerned.

I'd rather we bring in young players with real potential who can improve us rather than toil away and scrape to keep us up but there'll be a lot of pressure on these very inexperienced lads if we do sign them. Saints have shown that if you're good enough you're old enough still works fine in this big money league and hopefully they'll both be stars if we do sign them.
 
Virtually all managers bring in their trusted generals. Jonesy did it, Malky did it and Ole is doing it.They are just like football club owners. Safety in numbers I suppose. Ole will soon bring in his own backroom staff.
