Most takeovers happen without all the fanfare and hoopla we always end up with.

It just feels like these bastards just milk our emotions for as much as possible and deliver as little as they get away with. If this deal is happening it needs to be done now, not next week, not next month but now.

If you were going to re-sign, would you say your goodbyes to the club, only to sign up the next day? Seems a bit of bad planning at best. If you read the article from the link I posted, you'll have seen him quoted as saying that he couldn't get in touch with Southampton, nor had Reading.

Pity to see such disrespect for such a fantastic competition that was the fa cup. I think the authorities could help a lot by giving the fourth cl qualifying spot to the fa cup winners. Wouldn't be many more depleted squads then
