I'd not be too disappointed if Cattermole left because he is so inconsistent and injury prone. Colback looks a class act so far and I've heard some very good stuff about Knott. Dalglish will be on the phone to Brucie in the next couple of weeks then...

****! him too, although he can play ****ing anywhere that lad, which makes him worth keeping. I can't see Vaughan coming now either. Where the hell will he fit in?

I tend to agree with you on Catts marra. Great on his day, but he's become a bit of a liability to the club with his fitness and discipline issues. I'm desperate to see young Billy play, so expect him to get his chance in the cup games next season.

I cant understand the negatives about Cattermole. He is one of those players that EVERY good and successful sides needs. A born leader, a ball winner and a good captain IMO, AND only 23 years old, I'd be gutted if he left. He drives our midfield and with the acquisition of some new faces, will only add too not take away from our form.

Does need to sort out those injuries though agreed.

injuries and the red mist, which, to be fair, he was looking to be more on top of the latter end of the season.

what's the deal with his back now, did he have another operation?

And when Gibson, Cattermole, Colback and Meyler get injured, we are not left with much,we need a big squad.

25 man squad puts a limit on how many players we can have, with the exception of anyone under 21. The norm is to have 2 players for each position on the pitch and we always have to be wary of the wage bill. 6 players for the central midfield positions is enough IMO.

I think either someone from CM will be on the way, or Sess will be played on the wing.

    Larsson, Elmo - RM
Catts, Gibson, Colback, Meyler - CM
    Sess, Rico - LM

    Steed, Riveros - general cover?

I still reckon Dong will be a striker. If we sign Gibson, I'd also expect us not to be getting Gardner or Vaughan, as everyone has said we're getting crowded in the middle of the park!

Aye, he's still young and Bruce is decent at working with players like him.

Fingers crossed it all works out.

Would love to see Gibson come, not just because he is a local lad to me but because when he's on his game he's better than cattermole who can score as well. Also OShea would be immense if it comes off.

i really think its the ref's that spoilt cattermoles game, they were just waiting as soon as he stepped on the pitch to card him for something and hobble his game, think it really stopped him playing the way he plays well. if that makes sense
