Personally I just don't see the attraction in continually trying to wind people up over their club, think it's a bit sad tbh. As I said, a bit of banter is great but it seems thoroughly obsessive with some.
You'd think they had something more constructive to do with their time.
Perhaps they're in prison or something.

Forget the wums for a while.

So here we are at the end of this year - half way through the season if you like and we are in 5th place in a very tight top of the table battle. If we are honest then we would have been delighted at the start of the season to be in such good shape today. We've overcome suspensions and injuries. We've played some wonderful football at times and scored (well Suarez has!) not just a hat-full but a complete bag-full of goals. So putting things in perspective the first half of the season has been good for us.

Note what I said "good for us", it's not been "kind to us", we have overcome a number of problems from the Suarez contract situation through his suspension and major injuries to Sturridge, Gerrard and Enrique. Add to that we have had to play all of the teams presently above us away from home. But things are bright. Our walking wounded will soon be back. We have learnt to play differing styles of football eg our possible midfield players and systems. We have owners who appear to be as good as their word when it comes to investing in the club. We face ALL of our major opposition at HOME in the 2nd half of the season. Finally the pundits and critics and wums still haven't learnt what we (club and fans) hope for or the difference between CAN and WILL.

So welcome 2014, LFC are in far better shape to face whatever you throw at us than we have been for a very long time. The future is bright and the future is RED

<laugh>

I do wonder sometimes if you are indeed correct, the commitment level is amazing ..... truly.

It truly isn't..........

I love football, when I'm not at the match, I watch whatever football is on the TV. Very often that's your lot, so I have more of an idea about Liverpool than I would Hull City, it aint complicated.

Fair enough, you watch Liverpool (but not as much as Liverpool fans) so feelyou can pass comment. No arguments with that. However, when someone passes comment on Everton they are not in a position do so since they don't watch them as much as you. You see the contradiction?

That makes absolutely no sense <laugh>

A contradiction would be if you had previously claimed you didn't get stick. Nothing to do with what I put above.

Only pulling your plonker here anyway tobes <hug>

Come off it man, the hours you've put in talking about Liverpool is staggering.

Yesterday's game for instance, you must have been travelling back home while it was actually being played, yet you've managed to set your box to our game [or however you record it] and watched it last night in order to come on here to talk about it, that's nothing short of amazing commitment!

He's got no-one else to talk to, we're his surrogate family.

I watched the higlights last night, what's so 'staggering' about that ffs?

At least I don't pretend to have some aversion to watching other clubs games or even pretending not to have seen their results.......as if it implies some form of childish 'disloyalty'

I already said what was 'staggering; - the hours you put in talking about Liverpool.

On the other hand, watching the highlights, the whole game, the news reports concerning us etc. etc shows amazing commitment.

I don't know about 'aversion to watching other clubs' - some may have, that's their prerogative if so.

He reminds me a lot of sockrobbers on the beeb 606 back in the day.<whistle>

I'd forgotten about him.

AnfieldRAP was convinced all the Evertonians were the same person, because they all had the same opinion and all camped out on the Liverpool board.

There's no way socks never joined another forum after the beeb site closed, wonder what his new username is?

Any guesses jb?
